Welcome! You might be surprised how many good deals are out there right now. Please give some more info so we can help. How many cigs a day do you smoke (be honest) I assume you are on a low budget (no worries... so am I... I am a bargain hunter and can suggest many good deals) You don't need any special deals for vets... we can help you going for very little investment. Where are you (no need to be specific... just like what state in US or what country)? Many of us may want to suggest a good mod/tank or kit but hose will require batteries and maybe external charger. You don't need that yet (we'll talk later) You just need some thing to get started and get off those nasties! We are here to help (with advice and support) Be patient... don't just go and buy some crap (or pay too much) even if you have to get some small device (pod or AIO) for now.

Its about a pack a day right now....atm my budget is non existent....just moved into an apartment and they were kind enough to let me move in with first months rent and 300 towards the security deposit which is all i had. I have a 24 oz. Bag of tobacco and rolling tubes which a co-worker gave me. It's going to be 2-3 weeks before i have money again...humbly accepted food stamps from our county's assistance office. Didn't want to but i did with the knowledge that it will be short term.
I like alot of different setups. Right now i am not choosy at all...just wanting to get something to start with. I'm in Pittsburgh PA. I DO still have a four bay battery charger and 2 26650 batteries that found their way into a box of books somehow lol.

Hold on! you have a battery charger... that changes everything. Get some 18650 (or 21700) batteries (when you can) Eventually, everyone needs a backup so get something for now, get something better later down the road, and the "for now" device will be your backup. I understand about having to rely on tobacco for now (truth is, and I'm not proud of this... I still have a few each morning)

Well I'd love to help you out and PIF to ya, but I'm broker than broke and just can't part with the 5 mods that I have and still work. Check out the Armed Services Forum, perhaps that'll help you out some. I can also suggest you enter some contests here. Check out this forum and it's sub-forum.

Even though that mod has an internal battery, it will do until you can afford a mod that takes external battery (and besides, you always must have a backup... that is rule number 1 for getting off smoking) I'm going to get one myself. I really think you will like it and the tank does decent DL (the included coil is 0.4 ohms and runs at 40 watts)

What kind of vaper were you before? High power, low power, somewhere in between?

    What equipment did you use?

    Do you have nic?

Until you get a new set up, there are alternatives to cigarettes. Swedish Snus is one alternative. Several places around me carry it. Here's their search tool, Storelocator Page

Here's just one of the threads here that you can ask questions about it, What's under your lip/in your nose right now? - Part 2

Thanks buddy! It really does look like exactly what i need and would make a good backup later down the road...do you know if they may still be running it in a couple weeks? Will not have another paycheck till then and even though money is really tight atm with just moving and all, that price would be justifiable
