Hello, I am new and relativly new to vaping. I recently bought an eGo at a local mart and after 1 day of use the battery wont hold a charge. Also when I charge it the charger light never turns green and it wont stay charged for more than 5-10 puffs (even after 2-3 days of charging). I have tried cleaning and lifting the pin. When I go to look up my vape I cant even find it online! Its and eGo TS-14 (pictures below). Does anyone else have this problem or have this vape or both? thanks!

I would say your battery is a bad one. I also think someone made a cheap knock off which may explain the poor performance. I would recommend taking it back and getting a replacement or a refund.
I would take it back but its been too long and because i used it they wont take it back. I bet you are right though about it being a knockoff. good thing it didnt cost too much right?

That too bad. I will say this tho... for the price of what a good ego battery costs there are some amazing new products out there for around the same price that offer much better performance. If you would like I could link you a few of these so that you will have something you can rely on and not have to worry about the issues you are having.

Sadly, I recognize that packaging and can say (almost for sure) it's a very commonly-seen cheap clone eGo. They're all made in China, so no point saying Chinese.
We get them in England and sometimes they last long enough to justify the cost (under $12 here) and in fact I have one that was $8.20 (equivalent) that still works one year later.
If you like the 'type' of e-cig, you could buy a Kanger version easily enough. There are lots of Kanger fakes, but shop at the right online store and you will get the real thing. You don't need to shop at the 'official' Kanger store, in fact I recommend that you don't as that whole 'official' business is very shady indeed.

Hello, and welcome to ecf! I love your screen name :). I'm so sorry that you got a bad eGo. Sadly, many of the clones are poorly made. Were you trying to quit smoking with it? If so, I (and others) will be happy to suggest some options.
I wasnt trying to quit smoking, I have anxiety and an oral sensory processing need which caused me to crave smoking when I had never smoked. I found that the no nic juice was really nice for helping with my anxiety when in public.

Thank you so much for you affermation of what I was thinking. I know that my SO has an eGo off of ebay that works sooooo much better. I just ordered a E-Vod BCC 650MaH off of VapeUSA for a reasonable price for my needs.

I am so sorry you got taken for a ride, do you have a
Local vape shop? If you do,I would head there first before odering something online.that way you can be sure of what you are getting, and if you have a problem you can take it back to them and they will be held accountable face to face for authenticity,I hate it when ppl take advantage of vapers!!!

There arent many legit vapeshops most are smoke shops looking for a cheap quick buck off the Blu Ecigs or other disposables.

I hope that you enjoy your new Evod as much as my daughter and I enjoyed ours. The Evod is a nice setup that can handle quite a bit and still deliver a satisfactory vape. We have used anything between 50/50 pg/vg to 70/30 vg/pg with ours, and have not had any problems with our Evod setups.

You might want to consider getting a glass tank such as the Protank 2 Mini or Evod Glass, in addition to the tank that comes with the Evod battery. The tanks that come with the Evod setups are plastic, and some eliquids such as cinnamon and citrus flavors, among others, can damage or destroy those tanks pretty quickly. My daughter and I both love the Evod Glass - it can handle any eliquid, and, although it does come with a Kanger dual coil, we have very successfully used Kanger single coils with no problems. As a matter of fact, I prefer the single coils over the dual. The Protank 2 Mini uses the same Kanger single coils as the original Evod tank.

Have fun with your new setup, and if you have any problems, concerns, or questions, we are here to help.
