Hi there, I'm yet another newbie. I love an active forum and this one is quite active. I've been a pack a day smoker for years (Pall Mall orange). I've been vaping for about 2 weeks still having two to four analogues a day but, that's tapering off. My first kit was a horrible Freedom Smokeless thing that cost to much and was completely inconsistent. It was enough to see that there was somehting here though. After reading a while on here, I now have an eGo-T. That's okay and after reading more, I find that for a newbie it might be the best option. Just the same I have some 510 atomizers, cartridges and a drip tip coming to give them a try.

I do have a problem though. I seem to be bouncing all over the place on nicotine strength. I ordered some 24mg juice along with some PG. I have VG around in quantity for another hobby of mine. So, that's available as well I've been varying the juice strength with PG and VG. At first, the 24 seemed good. Now it's too strong. I went to 18. Still too strong. Then I went to 12. Still too strong. Went to 8. Not enough. Started working my way back up to 18. At the moment that's working but, I don't know how long. Is this normal? Am I going to settle down?

You can always mix juices to get the nic level in between, as long as the flavors are compatible.

That's more or less what I've been doing. I have some Geoff's Blend from Tasty Vapor. It's some strongly flavored stuff. I like it better diluted and I have the stuff to dilute it. So, that's working out.

Yeah you will find that sweet spot just give it some time. Your body will let you know. It's great that you have the stuff handy to dilute your juices. At first I would just make sure to have some high nic juice around (24-36) for when those cravings kick in. You can always dilute to desired strength if it is too much. I started using 18-24 mg juice and still had cravings, but within a month I was pretty much down to 12mg.

I have been using an ego t for a little over 1 1/2 months now, and I love it when it's working good (been having atty issues lately). I think it's a great starter kit but definitely try dripping with those 510s you got coming your way. To me that is vaping bliss, I'm just too lazy to drip all day, and I'm away from home a lot where it's not really possible so the ego t takes a lot of the hassle out of vaping. Anyway, good luck to you

I had that problem in the beginning...I had a V4L kit and a good friend of mine gave me a dozen juices to refill my carts with. they ranged in strength from 6 to 36! It was difficult to figure out what was good and what was too much...eventually i got a joye ego kit and ordered 3 five ml bottles of the same juice at 3 strengths (RY4 at 12, 18, and 24) It worked out because I started low and went up and only used 1 atty...I came to the conclusion that 18 was for me. This was a cheap way for me to figure it out, $15 for the juice, and in the end I got techy and combined the 12 and 24 drop by drop so nothing was wasted! hope this helps

I thought I'd update this. I've been using 18mg juice since I wrote this. I finished up the analogues a couple days ago. Well, yesterday the 18mg was just too much. Way too much. After my bouncing around previously, I bought some 36mg juice along with doublers (no nic same flavor) from tasty vapors. So, it was easy to mix up some 12. Because this occurred just a couple days after my last analogue (just a couple a day at that point), I have to ask if there's something in analogues that ups the nic requirement?
