Hi

I bought the ego-t from smokehero and have been using it for about 3 weeks now. Started off great and had no real problems but this last week both the atomisers i got with it started to smoke like burning plastic! Went today to get a dual coil atty and ended up with a pack of 510 dual coil cartomisers 1.5 2ohhmz. The girl on the counter wasnt sure if they would work but as the thread on the ego looked the same I said I would give it ago.

I tried dripping the juice in as I dont have a syringe at home and it just leaks out all over the battery! Either they dont work on an ego-t or I'm doing it wrong. So I think I'm after a simple yes they work and heres what you are doing wrong or throw them away!

Great forum and I'll just add I havent smokes a cig since I got this and enjoy vaping just as much so any advice would be very greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Joe

Hi Joe,
I'm using a KGO with the dual coil cartomizers, and my experience is that it's really easy to overfill them for some reason. They look like they can take more juice, but it just drips out of the bottom (I'm not using a syringe either, by the way). Once I let the extra juice drip out and clean up everything, they seem to work fine.
I've found that the Vision Ego (hope I'm using the right term - just google image it to see what I mean) works much better. They're more expensive, but there's not really a problem in the way of leaking...
Hope this helps a little...

Hey there, joemac666. The eGo is designed with 510 threading, so the use of the 510 cartos will work just fine. The dual-coil cartos will probably drain your battery faster than single coil, but will work. Also, for future reference, a dual coil carto may not work on the eGo battery like you are hoping. With the 1.5 ohm DCC, you are trying to power to 3ohm coils with minimal results. Those are best suited for use at the 4.7-5volt range. However, as long as you are filling them properly, they will work. How much liquid are you putting in there that it is leaking through the bottom end? Also, you said that they didn't come with the silicon caps? The only ones I have ever received without the caps are pre-punched tank cartos..

Cheers, the battery seems fine. It leaks as i put it in so very little actually goes in. The wicks have some juice on them and it has vaped for a minute or so. Ive used about half a small btl of juice which I thought have been visible. To explain, I took of the tip and tried to direct the juice into the small hole but it just seems to sit for a bit and then drips out the bottom. If I hold my finger over the bottom them none goes in. I've added a pic of the cartomiser. photo1.jpgphoto2.jpg

Hi Guys

As I said I was totally new to this and especially these cartomisers. The hole in the middle is not where the juice goes lol. You need a syringe to fill in tiny holes in the sides. I had no syringe but found this video on youtube and did this. No leaks and works great. Thanks for the help and suggestions. Link Clearomizer - YouTube
