Welcome to you! You are right about the people here. They are funny, helpful, and generally nice so far. I'm also glad to be here.

I partake in a lot of message boards for sports, music, and other subjective material. Arguments and disgruntled people are a norm on those boards.

However, I think it's because we're all here on a common ground that cannot really be argued. We're all here to find and give learned info on a relatively unknown subject. We're all here to not only quit smoking, but to ENJOY vaping. Also take into account that we've given up the toxins that cause horrible physical effects, hypertension, and irritability....and that makes for a pretty enthusiastic message board with a lot of good-natured people.

Interesting side affect of coming to this board? I rarely visit those other boards that make me want to punch my laptop screen.

Hello & welcome Joey :)

I'm guessing you haven't chosen an e-cig yet? Have you narrowed it down to any you are interested in?

hi Chrissie no i have not narrowed it down yet ,,,, :) but i know i want something for home use and something to take when i am out and about , but the thing i do know i will need it to be as close to a reg cig taste as possible ,and with some nic , this i will no lie about ,but like i said if any one can steer me the right way ,than i am all ears,

and sorry for the late reply . was in the studio banging out a new mega mix jam for my listeners..:), and also thanks for the warm welcome

Welcome Joey! ECF is a great site with tons of great info and interesting threads. Good luck on gettin off the analogs, it took me some time but I've been off them for almost 6 months. Just gotta find what juice and/or setup you like and you'll be vaping away!

thanks nf20ae that is my goal and hope people can give me some direction :) and also congrats and stay strong , because people like you give me the strength to quit this harmful habit of cigarets ;-)

Welcome to you. I'm in my 7th week of the journey and have learned a lot (and spent a lot) getting where I am. I also have 2 styles of PVs which is 1 for work and 1 for home. I did have a cig sized unit (V2) that I used for a few weeks and while it was OK, it just wasn't "hearty" enough for everyday use. My current "work" unit is a 650 mah eGo with Resurrector cartos - smallish, compact, and works very well. For home, I mainly use an Epower 14650 and sometimes an Apollo VTube Mini (Lavatube clone). The variable voltage isn't a big thing to me as most of the juices I like taste good at the 3.7 volts in the Resurrectors. If size isn't a critical issue, I think the Epower 14650 is a great all around unit and I highly recommend Crystal Clear Vaping for the source...

HI Joey.. Welcome to ECF.. there are many of us quit analogue after start vaping.. research a bit about the starter kit which is suitable for you.. like myself im a 2 pack smoker last time and i start with a higher MG juice to get the analog feel away.. later i drop a bit the MG and now i have found the right MG and throat hit that i wanted.. not smoking for 14months with an analogue

thanks for the warm welcome :), yeah i am reading a lot that people start with a higher mg juice and than decrease from there.. this is were i am leaning towards myself.. but here is question ? while i do understand that you can not calculate the equivalent mg hit of a reg cig. but i was wondering say my brand that i smoke (reg cig) is rated at 1.2 -2.7 mg?, what would that be roughly in MG juice ?:?:
