Hello everyone. Long time lurker (and vaper) first time poster.
I have tried several systems in the past. Like so many I am questing for my favorite setup. I have had the following rigs: BLU (yeah I know), std 901, Tornado tank (like but always ends up leaking for me.) Now I am going to try the J-tank. Tried searching but looking for some answers on J-tank:

  • do the pre-cut cartomizers have poly "filler" inside?
  • if so, do I need to be careful about sequential vaping to avoid burning that filler? (in the past I gave up on poly fill as sometimes I would burn it due to sequential vaping)
  • how long should I expect a carto in the J-TANK system to last before it needs to be replaced?

Thanks!

Yes the carto's have filler. Most people are using either Boge or Dual Coil Carto's. I much prefer the Boge's. Yes there is a small amount of burning going on of the material that wraps around the coil itself, not the actual filler. As the carto is consistantly wet, the amount of burning is actually quite small. I get around 4-5 refills. You could definitely get more, but at $1.50 a carto, why bother! The nice thing is that they don't leak at all. If you damage the insides by cutting or punching the holes too deep, it will, of course, leak. There are several vendors selling various versions out there. Do some research as the J-Tank is but one option.
