Hi all,

I've been lurking here for a few weeks, reading hundreds and hundreds of threads... got my PV a bit more than a week ago, and am very happy with it due to all the wonderful help I found here in selecting the right items for me.

I've been cutting down on analogs since I got it, and just had my first full day without an analog! It's not easy for me... I'm a total basket case at the moment and am craving an analog like crazy... we'll see if I can make it through the weekend.

Anyway, I really want to thank all the wonderful posters here. Without their helpful posts, I could have lost motivation upon my initial confusion over and effort involved in understanding all the technical terms and choices of PVs, attys vs cartos, condom vs syringe vs taryn spin etc. etc.

It is a pretty rare event to be able to say that an internet forum has in fact likely literally saved one's life... but this is exactly what ECF and education about PVs is doing! I believe that my PV will save my life, and drastically improve the quality of such.

Again, THANK YOU!!!!

PS the knowledge I have gained here has also helped me get my father to start using a PV, something that he would NEVER have done if I couldn't walk him through everything step by step and order all his products for him. So two lives saved in one!

When I wanted a cig I just vaped more~

Vape through it and you will be alright. If you have a smoke - no big deal. Try not to but if you end up smoking one at least you are reducing.

Have you started noticing your chest isn't heavy in the morning yet? I only did a half pack a day and definitely have noticed the improvements.

I haven't noticed a difference in the morning, but I did notice a HUGE difference in my weekly basketball game on Friday (after about 6 days of cutting down to 5 analogs along w/vaping)-- usually after two half-court games I am dying-- this week I played three games, much more actively than I used to, and was disappointed when nobody was up for a 4th!

Actually it was because of how good I felt during the game that made me really want to quit analogs for good.

Congrats! You are absolutely right - if you can quit the whiskey you can quit the cigis. If you have an analog on a bad day - oh well, try again for a smoke-free day the next day. I have been analog free for over 2 months and the cravings are pretty much gone most of the time.... I am chain-vaping, though, so my nic level never drops to a level where I would be tempted. But, if I ever run outta juice, don't know what would happen then..... So, I keep a good supply of juices at all times and ZERO analogs in the house other than my husbands and I always smoked menthols, hated regular tobacco, so I darn sure won't smoke them now! LOL!
