Hello my new friends,
I am a 15 year ex-smoker (half menthol half lights) who has now gone 5 days, two big parties (drinking), lots of good greasy food, with NO NO NO NO NO analogs! I purchased a Lux kit at a great price from the wonderful people at modernvapor.com. I went with them due to the lovely things I read about them from this website. I referred to this website before owning my own personal humidifier because of all the fair and honest reviews and discussions I have read here. THANKS EVERYONE!!!!
So now onto my order. I ordered the Lux kit from all the good things I heard about it. I placed my order and all went very well and easy to do. Without my knowledge, I forgot to order empty carts for my juice bottles so I called in the next day and "BAM!" they fixed my problem before my brain even knew what happened. So now I had added an extra day, placed more items into my order, and amazingly it still made on the exact day I was leaving to go out of town. Wow was I excited, just staring at the mailbox all day. So then the red flag had finally gone down and I raced out to the mailbox! There was the beautiful white USPS package staring at me! I raced to my desk, opened the package, and there it was......The Lux!!!! A very nice box with that made me feel special. Opened the box to find neatly placed parts and a full Lux, all held snug in a nicer than usual foam backing. Underneath the foam were all my new neat little contraptions! (carts, caps, charger stuff, and little covers for my carts.) Well done Modern Vapor I was impressed.
So now onto my first usage. One lux was put together and one was apart. I took the free battery and immediately placed it onto the charger. I grabbed the other one that was complete to look it over and saw that the blue light did come on. I decided to give it a whirl. Previously I have tried some friends devices like one from Rocky Mtn Vapor, and another from Green Nicotine. I believe they were "502" units or something. These both hit very well, produced a lot of vapor, and they helped me make this decision. Unfortunately my friends are always complaining about battery life so I researched to find a better unit. Well, back to the lux order. I ordered a bottle of RY4 16 mg, Red Energy 24mg, and then received some menthol pre filled carts with the package. I first wanted to try the Red Energy because my one friend had some of the "Red excitement, energy, cow, whatever" flavor from Rocky Mtn. that I absolutely loved. After reading instructions and having a decent idea on how to do it, I popped open the empty card and dropped some e liquid into the empty cart. I filled it up and placed the cart into the "SS" atomizer. I sat back and pressed the button then placed it to my lips and drew in..........VAPOR.....LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS OF VAPOR!!!!!!!! Now coming from a 15 yr smoker this was all I needed. Man this felt way better than any analog thing I have ever had. Smooth, kinda cold and refreshing but instantly filled my craving. I knew I had found my answer. Now the flavor wasn't as good as my friends but I wanted to be fair so I kept going with it. 5 days later it still really isn't a flavor I truly enjoy like my friends so I might order some from Rocky Mtn.
Now, the RY4. I ordered a smaller bottle of it to just try out some different flavors. They only had 16 mg in the smaller bottles so I think it may be to weak for me right now. The flavor is there and is quite tasty but I have to pull a lot from this bottle to fill my cravings. I have since started mixing it with menthol pre filled carts after I vape on them for a bit. The menthol are way to menthol tasting (coming from a mixed menthol analog user) so I found it kinda nice to mix the RY4 in to help calm the menthol down but yet add some kick to the RY4. Overall I dont have my flavor picked out yet but I have still not had a single analog since this arrived. Filling the carts was a bit unorganized at first but I now have a system and its working pretty good but still needs some polishing. I am having some issues with knowing if theirs still fluid or not but I will get there hopefully.
So now the past five days have been very good to me. I drove three hours out of town and just loved it. I think I must have blown 200 vape rings in the car....IN THE CAR!!!!!! I could never "analog" with the windows up so I had no idea how much fun it would be.....Ok settle down....
So I was going to visit my girlfriend at school, who also analogs, to celebrate valentines day and have a...a...a....Lingerie party. So not only did I drive three hours, have some drinks, and eat lots of food, I had to stand around in my skibbies with a bunch of younger than me college students. I DID ALL THIS WITH NO ANALOGS!!!!! Wow I couldnt believe it but here I am on Monday night vaping away forgetting about all the chest pains, bad breath, yellow teeth, just downright terribleness and thinking about what I have accomplished. Hooray!!!!
Well....there you have it.... I am very satisfied with the Lux and its usage. With my girlfriend and I vaping on this Friday, Saturday, and most of Sunday always having a good charge, I know this battery is what the doctor ordered! Well thanks for listening and if you have any good links for usage on the Lux, refilling and using carts, and whats the best juices I would be very obliged.
