Hello ECF Canada..

First of all just wanted to say how great this community is, Good stories, and great advice

I have been researching e smoking a couple days now, seems like a decent way to kick the cancer sticks ... than today as I was about to purchase I find we cannot get Nicotine e-smokes here in canada (well at least the smoke shop here) Kinda ....ty .. ... I didnt want to buy online as I wanted it today <... However since the smoke shop cannot sell the N Juiced e-ciggs, I guess I can wait a couple days for a delivery, Hell I'v been smoken a pack a day now for 15 years whats another week eh! I dont see a point in buying a kit with no Nic >> So hears the question .. After reading the forums I see so many suppliers listed > Can you guys give me some advise on which supplier to go with? Preferably in Canada...

oh, And I was looking into "Joye eGO-T" as it seems to be what i'm looking for.

Hi EastSide Toker,

I don't have a lot of experience with all the different ecigs, but I'm pretty good with my eGo-T.
NicFitNation has supplied in as little as 1 day via Canada Post, although 2 days is more likely.

Are you sure about that? I ordered from NicFitNation on May 8th, the package was processed at the postal facility on the 10th, and it's been sitting there for 3 days. Expected delivery date is May 16th. =(

EDIT: Actually I just realized you're from BC, nevermind. I'm all the way across Canada so I guess the 8 days is justified.

I love my ego-t, it's super easy, they send you 2 of them, you just charge one of the batteries in the charger once a day and you're always good to go. To fill it, you just take out the cartridge, flip the top off, fill the tank, put the top back on and you're set for a good while.

When you first use it, it will taste a little on the crappy side since you need to burn off the gunk they put on the atomizer, primer fluid or whatever. So I'm sure other people will have some more tips on this, it's not terrible by the way but once you get that off you'll notice a real improvement in flavor. You can dry burn the atomizer to speed things up, which means taking off the cartridge and hitting the button for a few seconds, not too long, and blow on it. You can also heavy vape and blow it out (not inhale) through the first tank full and then clean out the tank. I'd also start with a fresh cartridge after a couple of days and at this point things should be pretty good and you'll notice the difference.

Also, you'll find that after using a cartridge a few days you may find juice in the mouthpiece and maybe even some in your mouth if you're not paying attention enough. So you can bend a paper clip and stick it in the hole and take off that piece plus the one below it, then clean it and reassemble. I find that once you clean a cartridge though the problem happens again with more frequency, so when you find that you have to clean it too often you can toss it. They only cost a little over a buck each so no big deal there. They also say that if you drag too hard on it this will happen more often, which makes sense.

It's nice to see how much juice is in there though unlike cartridges where there is filling in there and you're never sure what the hell is in there. Overall this is a nice vape, there are other methods and devices that people will tell you vape better but are more of a hassle. So since this is your first PV, you won't know the difference anyway and if like me you find that the ego-t works fine then you're all set, and you can try other stuff later if you want.

KingCobra,

I find that if you remove the little plastic "manifold" (what I call the piece that's inserted in the cartridge below the plastic end piece) altogether the eGo T vapes much better. Gives it a much airier draw, which I prefer. Seems to make the flavor better and reduces the burnt taste (I think because you are sucking more air into the atty, which keeps the juice flowing a little better).

That's just my preference, of course. Yours may be different.

today marks 2 months smoke free for me, ive used the bauway itank exclusively and still have 1 of the two attys working flawlessly(1st one died after a clean 1 month in, the solder came off inside somehow).

Tips:
remove manifold and end piece as suggested for better draw and wicking.
leave a tiny bit of air in tank when refilling.
remove tank from time to time to release airlock and wipe built up moisture from outside of tank and inside of atty.
DO NOT shake the battery or the wires inside will become disconnected=junk.
no more then 80%VG in a tank or it doesnt wick right.
will take 1-2 days to break in for best performance.
always wipe the battery post and threads before and after charging.
disconnect atty and battery from timeto time to check for leaks and moisture that is sitting in the battery.
best cleaning method for me is simply rinse under hottest tap water for a min, then let soak in hot water for 10min, rinse again, blow out, dry for 12-24hrs, quick dry burn very carefully, insert new tank and let sit for 5 mins for wick to reabsorb.

Enjoy and happy vaping!

Just got a piper atty and so far i really like it to, easy as hell to fill and wicks 100%VG and holds over 2ml of ejuice and fits the ego batteries.

I found the atty lasts longer if you don't clean it. just blow em out once in a while

Possibly, depends on the ejuice i find, and once that bad burnt taste from dry wick or gunked up coil has happened no amount of blowing them out is gonna fix that, must be rinsed clean.
But 2 months for my one atty is more then I expected.

Seems to be working great so far.. first juice i tried was horrible some Canadian Tobacco .. was wondering the best way to clean the atty when switching juice..previously i just switched tanks and could still taste the canadian blend with the bubblegum for a bit ..any tips there? Also i Find i need to pull the tank quite often like every 2 or 3 puffs < and i did leave a little air the second time around .. I may grab a piper atty with my next order.. let me know how it works ..

you can also just give the tank a twist. be careful when you remove a full tank. have the battery end pointing up. I've had caps stick inside then juice everywhere... I boiled t attys a couple times and once they get tasting blah, it's over and time to toss em out. I've even taken them apart and just used for dripping (pull the wicking part out with pliers or use a screwdriver) but even then the majority of the old ones don't even drip well.

I consider it part of vaping. atty's cartos etc are disposable. they aren't very expensive, about the cost of a pack of smokes. (about 3/4 of a day for me) so if they held up for 2-4 weeks then who cares. that said I am using lr boge cartos now and the flavour difference is quite noticeable. I'll still keep some tank stuff on hand for long drives and such as they are just too convenient. sometimes filling a carto is a pain, like driving.

I gotta talk primo into getting more of this royal reserve. I can actually imagine sipping a whiskey while puffing it.

I don't boil mine, just hot water from the tap for rinsing and then fill a bowl with the same hot water and soak for 5-10 then rinse again. Dry for 24hrs and then a Series of 5 or so dry burns. Plug a tank in after and let sit to wick for 5 mins. The odd time if it has been a dark juice and the coil is really bad I'll rinse again and let dry.
Water rinses should due little harm other then blowing them out and having the wick move down causing poor wicking or leaking.
I do agree that the cost of them is cheap opposed to cigs but I'm all for squeezing that last penny outta it.
I thought bout having a Atty for each flavor but I find the flavor transfer is fairly quick after changing a tank unless using a overpowering flavor such as clove or cinnamon.

I have read in the forums about newbs "thinking" tobacco flavor was a good start (wish i listened), well i thought so too as i smoked players for years .. lol .... so far my Favorite.. the Ry4 <caramel and tobacco blend> also the bubble gum was pretty good.. oh did i mention I went from 25 -30 smokes a day to 2 in the last 24hrs ..and I will admit this morning was the 2 smokes, just seems habit smoke-coffee-smoke-coffee-vape? ...

Edit: Tried the Players again and like it now .. must have been the burn of the new atty causing a problem...
