EDIT: if TL:DR, please just skip to last paragraph.

I live in Canada and was a pack-a-day smoker for 15 years. I bought a Kanger Evod Starter kit a few days after Christmas and fell in love with it. I have not had a cigarette in a little over 2 weeks and there is absolutely no desire to return to smoking analogs. Being able to vape indoors is awesome. I work from home on the computer and am perfectly content using the evod setup I have around the house, perhaps someday even upgrade to something larger and better for at home use.

However there have been some situations out in public I don't feel as comfortable using the evod, (like a night out at the bar), or times I want to be more subtle and have something much smaller.

Perhaps either a blessing or a curse but for Canadians there are not many options at all for small cig sized devices. I wasted countless hours researching products and watching many youtube reviews only to find out in the end most products can't be shipped here.
It should be noted I'm not looking for anything that resembles a real looking cigarette in colour. I fancy the all black with blue LED look.

Anyway enough rambling, I found a Canadian vendor who sells the Bloog. What I'm wondering is how will the throat hit, vapour, and flavour compare in quality to vaping with the evod? I'm well aware battery life will be crap in comparison, I just don't want to shell out money and feel like I'm just sucking air through a straw.
Even if you haven't used the Bloog specifically, if you have tried the Volts, Redds, Halo G6. I'm curious how the vape compares to vaping on a device like the evod. Is the quality similar or significantly worse?

Hi and welcome to ECF. If wanting a Bloog type setup you'll prolly find what you're looking for here for less:
808D-1
As far as importing into Canada hardware/ gear is okay but Nic juice is iffy.
380 mah 808 fires at 3.7 volts- same as the eVod but realize they're diff threading.

Canvape has a battery: 808D-1 Eigate 180mAh, but the 65mm at happyvapour (site selling the Bloog) say their battery is 220mAh.

Is the bloog battery better or a newer generation? There seems to be a 40mAH difference claimed, is the performance the same?

Not a fan of HV. I've seen him release gear that's Version 1 and call it "revolutionary/ new" at the same time an updated improved Version 2 is being sold by other Vendors.
808 are really basically the same animal. Bloog, Smoov, Volt the same product. SI with the Volt though prolly has the best CS in the industry. Every so often they have 30% off sales. The 808's were very popular a few years ago but now really only appeal to those that want or need a cig sized PV.

Thanks for the responses. The prices at HV seem expensive. Is volt available in Canada? I notice you are from Toronto.
You're welcome. Just want to make sure you buy what's right for YOU. LOLLL if you think his present prices are high you would've puked before Canvape opened its doors. CV literally forced all other Cdn Vendors to drop their prices. We were paying $22- $25 per 30 ml juice  Yeah I'm in the North End of TO. Shipping Options ships the Volt here BUT don't include any juice in the package.
Is the Eigate battery the same quality as the volt or is it lower?
They are all relatively the same. SI has great CS BUT shipping back to the U.S. would be a PITA. For the amount that you're gonna be using it I could see it lasting a long time.
There's also the eRoll. 90 mah battery BUT comes with a personal charging case.
Pros
fires at 3.7 volts
very small
comes with PCC
batteries are inexpensive
Cons
90 mah BUT you have the charging case= 1000 mah
.4 ml cartridge
cartridge and attys are proprietary
