Hi there, I am new member so I am probably not saying anything new to ya'll, but I thought I would use one of these mandatory posts here to share my experience so far. Analog smoker for 29 years. Day 3 as a vaper. I am learning on the Superior e-go from Apollo. CE4's, and a 900mA battery. So far, so good, I am enjoying the experience. I was still trying the analogs for the first day and a half, but slowly began to like the vapor better (super stoked! never thought I could give up my blue Spirits). I am completely satisfied with the 12 mg nicotine, I am feeling very confident I will not go back to analogs. I never expected to take to it so quickly. I accredit the useful articles I found here to a lot of that. Especially the article on how to use e cigs correctly, that made a huge difference in my learning curve!! I have made use of several other articles as well and found them extremely helpful. I have found my version of the perfect vape, but now I need to work on consistency, it keeps eluding me. I also find that there is a little adjustment from flavor to flavor, so I will probably gain better technique faster if I stick to one for now. It is tough because I am excited to try them all, I only fill the tank half way so I can try a new flavor or two each day. So far I have tried Apollo's brand tobacco (changed it quickly), RY4(liked it better), clove(too strong for me, and seemed to bother others near me), and menthol (my favorite so far--which is funny because I cant stand menthol analogs), and currently green apple (I like it, but it is lighter in TH and flavor for sure). I am surprised I was not drawn more to the tobacco flavors, I never liked flavored tobaccos of any kind in the past but I am finding I like the various non-tobacco e-liquids quite a bit. Seeing how I am leaving smoking behind, I thought I would crave the tobacco flavor. Nope it was just the nicotine I crave, and now it tastes better and I feel better! I will fight for my right to enjoy this option, it should be encouraged, not criminalized! Thank you administrators for creating such a useful and easy way for beginners to get over the hump. I believe this forum was instrumental in helping me enjoy and succeed in using my new e cig. Cheers!:)

Congratulations:toast: Hope you continue enjoying your new and improved addiction. I am all new to this but it didn't take long for me to get the feeling that this time I would end up smokefree. I absolutely love vaping. Welcome to the forum. Believe me when I say you can get all your questions answered not to mention all the support you can handle too. I love the people here and hope you come back often. Keep us posted on your progress.

Great job on cutting out the analogs. I started vaping about three years just hoping to cut down on the analogs...never intending to quit....and over the first six months or so, I just lost the taste for them. I never would have believed it, but they just started tasting nasty. So don't beat yourself up over desire for analogs - just vape through it. Give your brain the nicotine it wants and I bet you won't desire the analogs at all in a few months time.

Also - i played around with trying to mimic the taste/flavor of my beloved Camels, but am all in on the fruity flavors now - so delicious! (And I've realized that the "taste" of cigarette was really just the taste of burning.)
