Gary from Central Arkansas, newby vaper, one-day-so-far ex analog smoker. So today I got my Apollo Superior eGo CE4 starter kit...the online reviews seemed decent and it seemed to be a friendly starter setup. So far I am thrilled. I've tried those crappy OTC cheap e-cigs before and was less than pleased, but the vapor I get from this is legit. I have no doubt that before long I'll be trying out all kinds of crazy mods and whatnot, but for now I am very happy with my little intro kit and looking forward to learning more.

This is my "not" obligatory welcome because I love reading about new people getting started on their vaping journey. I am still new but just so amazed that this has helped someone like me that has tried for so long and so many things. Good luck to you and I hope to see you around. Learn all the you can so you can help me when I post questions. ;)

Congrats and Welcome. Ditching the analogs will free up a lot of money for those shiny new mods!

Lol, thanks! I justified that 70 bucks for the kit with my wife by bringing up all the money that I'll save and, true, that's about a week's worth of tobacco sticks, but I'm already finding myself eyeing a fancier tank and a VV battery. BUT, even if I don't quite save as much money as hoped, at least I'm not putting 4000 additional chemicals into my body and coating my lungs with tar.

Don't worry. It will turn into an expensive hobby in no time. Haha

...you dropped a bad habit, and picked up a great hobby!
I like that line of thinking! I'm a software engineer by day and an electronics hobbyist by night (as well as a crime fighting superhero, but I try not to brag about that too much :2cool:), and my mind is already spinning with what mods I could come up with using a programmable microcontroller.
