I used to be part of a halo clan a while back and I am definitely not new to forums
I love that the e-cig world has it's own sub-culture! I read up on all of the new member info posted on the stickies and I am really glad to be a part of a forum again!
Ok so I have quit before for a good amount of time, but I keep slipping back into the habit. I am in the Navy and it is hard to get away from it sometimes. Anyways, I spent allllll night looking at different models and then decided to go with the EGO from Janty. They seam to have the best review from the general tone of the forum. I think it fits me and I was wondering is there anything I should but other than the EGO kit? This is what I ordered:
The EGO Set (all), 2 apple juices, and then I got 1 extra atomizer. Is there anything I can get to make sure I am good? Also I wanted to get a cheap cigarette sized one (mini?) or the orginal with the led tip and the cigarette outside or black/blue.
I am really excited to begin talking to everyone and helping and getting help!!!!!

Not sure how much you smoked, or of what brand but...
What strength juice did you get?

Also, most people here go through about 2-3ml per day.
So plan accordingly.

And since you got the EGO you basically bought a 510 with larger batteries.
So if you also want a smaller one too, then just buy some regular 510 batteries.

I use the eGo and I love it...produces lots of vapor and the TH is awsome... I am using mine with a Low Resistance atty for better vapor and better TH... I think you are all set you made a very good choice.

You may want to get a 5 pack of 510 cartomizers. Not sure if they will work ok with the ego batt & cone setup , but will work with the standard batt. . Each hold approx 1.5ml of juice having a built in atty and can be refilled a few times.

I smoke anywhere from 2 cigs to 10 a day.
A whole pack is what? 22ML?
So I went with the Med strength to start out with.
Then after that, I will work my way down to nothing but pure juice!
And trust me it's an honor to serve you!!!!!!!!

I have just yesterday started using the Ego battery. I have some low resistance atomizers on their way. With the normal Joye 510 atomizer those ego's last what seems like forever I'm on day two. I thought I vaped alot. I would go through four normal bats a day.

Heck yeah! I was wondering why you get the low resistance atomizer?
Do they have less pull on the battery or something?

Just the opposite they burn hotter with the normal voltage. As far as pull TH and vapor production I do not know yet. I ordered mine from eastmall in china. They may be here next week somtime.

First of all...welcome back and thank you for your service!!

You made a GREAT choice with the EGo!! I'm currently using the LR atties on mine, and they're incredible!!

The only thing I would suggest changing, or, remembering for next time, would be to up the nic content in your liquids...if you're currently smoking 2 packs a day, I'd suggest something with at LEAST 24mg's.

And, MAKE SURE YOU ORDER A MANUAL KIT!!!

510 cartomizers will work just fine on the eGo. It's a 510 connecter.

You smoke like I do, sparatically. I think those of us that don't hit it all day long benefit more often from higher doses. I use 24mg. For those who vape all day they are getting a constant level. We are more used to 'quick hits.' Remember vaping has a slower absorbtion rate than smoking so with a low dose, you may be tearing that ego apart trying to get that satasfaction. I can vape much longer on 24mg and not feel like I'm getting too much. If you dont have much time I would even consider something higher. After a month or two you can always knock it down a notch. Over 2 weeks now and I havent missed the analogs one bit. Just my 2.

Oops..sorry about that, I must've SKIMMED again..

The Manual is when you hit a button to make the PV fire up as opposed to having to activate it by 'dragging' on it. MUCH easier and better control and vapor.

Just to show you how different people can be, I also smoked like he does.

I used to smoke, on average, around 5 Camel lights per day, but I did that for 25 years.
Sometimes as few as 2 and sometimes as many as 10 when drinking.

Anyway, I started with 16mg strength and it was too much for me.
I dropped to 12mg and that was just right.

Oh yeah I did order the manual kit because I herd the auto was harder to control. And I think the med strength id about perfect for now. I am about to start stalking ups lol
