First time posting in ECF/a forum ever and am excited to learn and contribute! I recently just bought my second mod, the Turtleship V3 (SS), and am having so much fun just puffing away.
I used to go to a local vape store but ventured a little further after a yelp search to find a really nice vape shop, two days ago. I always wanted to try to build my own mod after buying the itaste vtr and on that day, I saw the Turtleship V3 and instantly knew that I had to construct. So yesterday, I went back to that vape shop and purchased the Turtleship V3 for $180 and a kayfun Lite Plus for $120. I did research online and found the prices to be reasonable (close to the prices of the original, online) and made the purchase at that vape shop, instead of online, to support that vape shop.
After bringing the vape home though, I started researching more and more about the Turtleship V3 and noticed how similar the clones look to the original mods. I started feeling uneasy by the thought that I may have purchased a clone and not the original. They insisted that they only sold originals but I was just so intrigued by the mod that I didn't continue to question them further. This is my first real, and expensive purchase at that vape shop and I really need to know if what I purchased was authentic and original to decide whether or not I got ripped off, and whether or not to support them anymore. I added photos of my purchase, including the individual parts. I also notice that there I can hear the battery rattle i.e. fits loosely (the salesman said that this is how you can also tell that the turtleship mod was an original). The kayfun lite plus also came in a little white box that has "svoemesto" written on one side, "The Difference" on the front, "Designed in Russia, Made in Germany" on the back, and a "100% Genuine Product" Sticker on the top. This was a week's worth of salary for me and I will feel crushed if I find out that I have a clone instead of an original BUT I must know. Ignorance is bliss? Not this guy haha.
TL;DR : Is my turtleship an original or a clone?
