Turtleship Mod

Hi guys!
I'm still new on ECF
I've been looking around, and it seems like that this question wasn't asked.

For anyone that owns a Turtleship mod, they should know that the insulator around the firing button is faulty and gets really hot when dealing with sub-ohms. I just change my grip from burning myself. Also, I'm getting tired of constantly taking apart and cleaning the firing button (the leaks from my rda) . I was wondering if i can change the button with another one (I saw a magnetic firing button from a vape shop before) . Would that work, and would that also fix the burning hot problem? Have anyone tried that?

Thanks in advance.

Edit * I use a brand new vtc4, and I already checked that my battery is okay for the ohms that i'm using.

Often, hot button will be the result of a short somewhere in the device. Two options:

1) Identify where the short is coming from, potentially sanding down whatever's causing it (it's possible the spring in the button is transferring heat/causing the short, magnetic button or different, non-conductive spring may fix this).

2) Increase your ohms. You implied you go sub-ohm, but didn't mention what ohms you're actually at. I've had devices experience hot button issues with a .3 build, but a .4 and up works totally fine.
