Hello (ECF) world - new guy signing in :-)

Just wanted to say hello and met you all know a little bit about me. I've been smoking since childhood - started regularly smoking when 10 and got up to about 20 cigs a day when I was around 15.
Now in my thirties I have smoked for more than half my life and 3 weeks ago I recieved a KeCig 100 mechanical mod and some clearomizers plus about 12 different flavores and strengths of juice. Have had fun mixing my flavors since I did not like any of them much straigh out of the bottle except 1 minty chocolate that is really lovely. Since then I've smoked 5 cigarettes and none in the last 2 weeks. Love vaping when it is good but hates it when I get dry hits or burnt taste that I cannot get out of the clearomizer.
I'm from Denmark and I work as a engineer on oil tankers. Having read a ton of stuff here on ECF before I got my second E-cig I more or less just signed up to say thank you to all the ingenious people who are contributing to the wealth of knowledge here on ECF. TY

Thank you all for those fine welcomes. Sure know how to make a guy feel appreciated around here.

I basically just wanted to thank the contributors of the community - especially those writing about clearomizers - for all their great advice.
Sure is a large forum though so it takes some patience to find what you are looking for. Guess thats the backside to the medal of being the biggest what-ever-it-is - forum on the net

@ terry W: Yes I thought it would fit me nicely. Seemingly solid construction made out of common materials and simple enough to operate that I should not need another mod for a good long while. But of course need is not always what drives my spending
Iam using these clearomizers although I also have some carthomizers. I just find the flavor better in the clearomizers. But by Gawd they are sensitive little creatures arent they. A little too long of a drag... Burnt taste. Too often.. same. And so on. Still new to this stuff.

I was just eating some duck left overs when I started reading this thread again. So while reading I was shortening the coil on a head for the clearomizers. And when finished I assembled it, tested the coil and filled it with juice. A mix of various fruits and then some menthol to bring out the flavors.
Then I took a drag and it did not dawn immediately what was wrong, only that something was wrong....
Then after a few more hits the flavor intensified and I tasted... Fruity Duck!

Feeling like such an a.. right now

@ chewey 123: I like it. I mean you get what you pay for. Like everything is press fit so if you tighten down the battery compartment too tight the top part with the connection can be pressed out a little. And some such things. But I think compared to other mods with similar capabilities it is very nice.
