Hello ECF world!

I figured I would go ahead and introduce myself, in a way. I've been off analogs for more then a month now. Attempted to quit using PVs years ago but failed (I partly blame cheap juice that can't compare to what we can get now). I'm loving the fruity juice lately (went through a oz. of custom Pineapple Mango Coconut from T.V. in about a week(do i qualify as a heavy vapor? been wondering)). I am highly interested and building my own PVs but also plan to try several mods commercially available. I had so much help watching countless reviews on everything ecig related that I would love to start making some, try to help cover some of my problems and concerns before hitting the checkout button (nothing construction related, I feel i'm proficient enough in the basics to build some devices for myself but couldn't risk guiding someone else).

I hope to be a regular here and want to do everything I can to help anyone else that wishes to quit smoking.

For me, finding the perfect juice(s) is my #1 priority. I'm liking fruit flavors more than anything and I have supplies coming in so I can start mixing my own and doing some experimenting...

Its especially hard for me to put down those amazing flavors when I get some. Really wish I had heeded the advise I read about chocolate flavors taking over though, got a waffle with chocolate and strawberry, barely taste anything but chocolate, luckily I got a cupcake with banana/bavarian creme in the same order, i'm thinking if i get the quantities right I can end up with a very nice desert vape. I really wanted to taste the strawberry though and sadly can't get any of it currently.

When it comes to flavors I'm lucky in a way that "tobacco" is what I like. Tried a handful from different vendors and liked them all.

Tobacco was great for me at first, I don't know if I would of been successful in quitting without having something closer to what I was already smoking (amazingly strong custom menthol tobacco with menthol tubes) my menthol's were so strong everyone who bummed a smoke could barely handle it(most never finished one), made it to where I rarely had anyone asking for cigs though lol.

Welcome and congrats on being off the smokes for a month! I've got quite a few good juices but I haven't found that all day vape yet. One part of me hopes I never do, I have a lot of fun checking out the variety.

Hi Penguin, there are so many lovely flavours to choose from, after 6 weeks I have some favourites but seem to have a ravinous appetite to keep trying more, lol.

I look forward to putting up some pics soon as its done(i'll probably be spending a lot of time in the modding forum once I can post there), all thats left is working out the battery contacts, and a little drilling. Sadly the latter will be a little to noisy to continue tonight. But it'll be a beast, I might call it the Pengadin! lol (play on paladin for those not initiated

My main problem right now trying to be somewhat responsible when ordering juice, I need to get some DIY juice gear

How far does a Dram of flavoring normally go? i'm sure its very subjective due to preference/initial strength but was hoping for something general

Welcome! the more the merrier.. that said good luck weening yourself from the nicotine monkey! I suspect that the ability to go down to 0 nic juice and keep on enjoying vaping is the key to being happy both while weening.. and once your done!

Hello, you should try to make your own liquids as you'll make your mod: it's easy and you can choose the flavor you need and make a lot at one time. It becomes better and better with time like....good wine !
