Hello world!

I've tried a couple different models in the past. My first go-around was with the blu starter kit. This was close to four years ago and while I really wanted to quit smoking, it did not happen. The next year I tried a 510 manual and while it was good, it wasn't good enough. I tried an ego and it was pretty good at first, but I'm not sure if it was the quality or an actual ego issue, but it didn't fill the emptiness cigarettes left behind. This year I decided to try the inferno with the tube tank. I got it on the 23 and have only had 14 cigarettes since, whereas before I was smoking a hard pack a day. It is amazing and I absolutely love it! I'm positive that this is going to work for me. I heard it was just a version of the ego and I don't know if it's the battery quality or the tank system that just does it for me but I'm sold.

I've been out of the vaping game for a long time and all these new set ups are completely foreign to me. I'm looking for more tanks or something to alternate flavors more easily and if anyone could steer me in the right direction I would be forever grateful!

Thanks :D!

Hello and welcome to ECF and congrats on cutting down on the smoking. I know some people that are bouncing back and forth also know some who are dual users. Whatever it takes.

A dripper is good for alternating flavors, and Protanks/Davides are pretty popular, both mini and regular size. I use mini vivi nova's and mini Davides for swapping flavors.

I started on an eGo thanks to a youtube recommendation. I really go for flavor, and that never really delivered. I recently bought an old-model VV mod on clearance, and while it was a LITTLE better, the game changer for me was mixing my own liquids.

If you haven't tried dripping, I highly recommend it. I have a smok rebuildable dripper ($6, I think), and a couple more models on the way. I can't keep one flavor going for more than a half-hour before I get bored!

I think a vamo or mvp might be fairly inexpensive mods with good options for you n pretty easy to figure out. Also bottom coil clearomizer are pretty consistent for flavor n vapor. Mt3, evod, n aero are pretty good for the price. Then b4 u know it you'll be getting a quality mech mod n rba, building your own micro coils, n blowing clouds like a champ lol. If u don't mind the wait for shipping fasttech.com has great prices n has always been good to me

Hello and welcome!

I'm new as well. I've been cigarette free for over 3 weeks now. :)

I started on an EVOD and still like it a lot. I bought a ProTank II (glass tank) recently because I love citrus juices, and other things that crack plastic tanks. I like it but I do prefer the EVOD's draw. I'm going to order a MiniTank Pro II soon to see if I like it better. Hope someone has better advice/info than this for you! hehe

Welcome to ECF and the "crowd"! I have a VV2 eGo and an iClear 30 dual coil. This thing is my fave! I still use my first EVOD because the draw resistance feels like I'm actually dragging on something instead of sucking air. I bought some 2.4 ohm coils for it and it came alive after that. I have tried top coils and burn the wicks too fast in it as I tend to chain vape at times and it can't wick up fast enough to support the run time for me. This is my :2c:

Hi elly and welcome to ecf you came to the right place for any vaping queries :). SVD from fasttech is a great buy I got mine last week as a backup for my sigelei zmax and also got some rg500 tanks which are glass tanks so no worrying about juice and they use protank heads so easy to rebuild. Your an individual and there is no set path to going vape only but you've cut down tobacco so that's a good start. Perhaps trying a higher nicotine level juice may help you to cut down more I'm using 18mg now but started off on 24 so try changing nic levels. Finding the right setup really is trial and error at the start and I hope you find yours quickly :).
