I had that unbearable craving for a cig the first week, learned that not all clearomizers are created equal, and am confident that I've kicked my 35 year old tobacco addiction for good... well... with the help of vaping. All in spite of my initial clearomizer trouble (made the mistake of buying from a *Box*-Mart).

So yeah, I've had a few problems, but vaping has completely replaced smoking for me.

I started with a couple of HAUS starter kits, but quickly upgraded to a Nautilus and a box of C4s after my original starters began to flood and leak.
I really enjoy the Nautilus and plan to match it with a battery that it deserves before long.
It should be able to produce a good/better lung hit with a good battery/mod.

I used the Nautilus when I upgraded from the Aerotank. I ran my Nautilus at between 15-17 watts on my iStick 20 watt. I would recommend the iStick 30 watt (vs the 20 watt) or the Coolfire 4 (40 watt). The iStick 30watt addressed many of the problems we had with the 20 watt.

Another tank which is similar to the Nautilus but less expensive and a little more airflow is the eLeaf GS Air M tank. Tanks & 5pk coils are inexpensive (~$10 each). Two different Kanthal coils: 1.5Ω (8-20 watts) & 1.2Ω (8-30 watts). Both are dual coils. Sweet-Vapes usually has them in stock.

An even better lung hitting tank (than both the Nautilus & the GS Air M tanks) is the Kanger Subtank Mini. Available separately or in a kit with the Subox (60 watt).

Here are some reviews:

Welcome! it took me a bit to stick to vaping i was a dual user for a while. Glad to hear you kicked the analogs, now the real ADDICTION begins! first its clearos and carts, then soon you will have your relatives asking if you have any spare batteries to power the remote.

The real addiction has already began I guess... in the form of DIY juices.
After all, without juice, I cannot vape.

I'll probably start into batteries / mods in the next couple of weeks, but for now the Nautilus mini and the clearos along with the starter pen batteries seem to be working out OK for me. The Nautilus for my daily vape, the clearos for testing, trying, & discrete portability. :)

Thanks for linking me to the reviews Susan~S. I am leaning towards a Kanger kit right now, but truth be known, a good old twist stick with replacable batteries and a external charger would probably serve my simple needs for now. I do like how the Kanger comes with an easy rebuildable tho... So it's really hard to decide what I really want at this point. (but i do see a sub ohm dripper at some point in my future, lol :) )

Lots of catching up to do on the links. I'm still absorbing info from the links in post #7. lol...

As far as DIY... I have a Three-S rule:
Keep it Safe, Simple, and Sanitary.

I don't attempt my own extracts, have no desire to do so, and wouldn't recommend it.
Food and pharmaceutical grade (from reputable vape vendors) is the only way to go in my humble opinion. :)

I'm also about gradually lowering my nic intake level to nil. Have already gone from 24mg, 18 mg, 15mg, 12mg, to 10mg.
My next step is to go to 6mg and finally to 3mg (planning to wean myself completely away from nic over the next year).
