Hello guys,
Today i just bought my first e cig, an ego t2 1100 mAh.
It came fully charged so i don't have any problem yet, but it came only with a usb charger and no wall wart.
I'd like to know If it is safe to plug IT in to my phone wall wart wich says output 5v 1a.
My e cig charger says Input 5v (IT doesnt specify the ampers) and output 5v 420 mAh.

My mother charges her Itaste CLK 1280 using an IPhone wall adapter and it's working fine. I looked at it and the battery calls for 5v 1a and that is what the iphone adapter is.

I've heard lots of stories about e cig explosions, and to be honest i am a little bit afraid.

USB on your computr is 1.5 or 2 amp. The amperage to your battery is controlled by the charger ... not the power supply.

For point of reference, the wall wort from a Joyeteck eGo starter kit is rated at 500ma output.

since the required step-down happens in the charger you should be safe from what I have read up on.
The main difference will be that the 1amp wart will charge slower than a 2.1amp wart.
