Hello all I have some questions that I hope someone might be kind enough to answer for me.
I have just started vaping about a month ago. Quit smoking after my first mod that I bought and im loving it. Now the mod that I bought was a K eCig K200+( that's what it says on the carrying case ) and now I want to upgrade as I find this kit very unreliable. The battery life indicator does not work at all and the mod itself is very touchy. Sooo I have been doing some research and my mind is scrambled with tons of info lol.
I know or at least think I know that I would like the itaste VTR and thinking the X2 Aspire nautilus tank. Now I vape a lot a TON lol and I am confused on what batteries and charger to get. What are the best batteries to get for this mod and a really good charger.
I would like to get probably 4 batteries as I said I vape ALOT lol so I can always have some charging and ready to go. I know being new this is asking a lot but if anyone can give me a battery name and model and same for a charger that can be bought in Canada IF possible would be freakin amazing. Sorry to overwhelm on my first post hehe. Oh and is there a really good online store in Canada that anyone would recommend?
Thank you for your time and patience if you made it this far =P.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

There are many members on this forum with the VTR, so you will find lots of support here. The batteries you need are 18650's. They are made by an array of companies but most agree the best 18650's are Sony VCT5's and there's quite a few AW fans out there as well.

As for a charger, I personally recommend the Nitecore i4. It has four bays for the four batteries you are thinking of getting and has overcharge protection. The battery charge is indicated by three LED's at the top of each battery bay. They also have the D4 which comes with a digital display to show overall charge and a few more features. The i4 can be found for under $20.00 at most places as well.

Good luck and happy vaping!

Cullin Kin did a great job covering the batteries so I don't need to go there :D I will say that while I think the VTR is a fine mod, it is one HEAVY beastie at nearly a pound (376 grams) with a battery and full tank on board, so you should be aware of that. Also, a full size Nautilus won't fit inside the protective ring on the VTR so you'll be forced to use the adapter attachment which makes the mod pretty long. Just a couple of things to consider before you purchase.

would these be the batteries? Sony VCT-5 18650 2600 mAh Li-ion Battery ?

Yes -- Sony US18650VTC5 2600mAh

Only buy from a reputable dealer (not ebay or Amazon) as there are many counterfeit batteries being sold. Here are a few reputable suppliers in the US. I don't know if they ship to Canada or have warehouses there.

* Illumination Supply
* Lighthound
* Orbtronics
* RTD Vapor

I haven't bought a VTR yet, but I've been thinking about it and actually buying batteries and a charger that I knew would work well with it. For batteries I bought Sony US18650VTC4 instead of the VTC5's because I was having trouble finding them. I think the VTC4's should work just fine with the VTR, but the VTC5's would be preferable from everything I've read. For the charger I bought the Xtar SP2. It charges only two batteries at once and costs twice as much as the nitecore, but the reviews seemed very good and I figured why not.

I followed Mr.Mann's link to charger reviews in this post:
