So just started vaping, and started fairly small by going to my local walgreens and getting the starter kit for the finiti e-cig.

Needless to say I'm less than impressed, one of the batteries really doesn't work (light on end doesn't start glowing, it just turns on, stays on for two seconds or so, then goes out), and there's really next to nothing for flavor.

After some more research, I went for a set of the v2's on their website, and I think I'll be happy with it, got an automatic and a manual coming (2 come with the starter kit). I'm fairly excited, but dear lord, I should have just paid the 7 bucks for 4 day shipping, they are serious when it says 9-14 days. o_O;

Anywho, my question is this...while i do not like the finiti's very much, it came with this charging box, and I really like it. it has 4 spots for cartridges not in use, a charging spot for a battery not in use, and a sixth holder for an ecig that has a cartridge on it.

Tried doing some googling to no avail, but I'm wondering...will this charger work with the v2 batteries? or is going to be one of those "absolutely only for x model of y brand".

I also want to thank this community for the help so far, while only just signing up tonight to make this post, I've been on and off reading through the forums, and it's really made me feel more comfortable about my choices and searching since my blind leap into the walgreen's store...so...thanks! :D

Welcome to the forums! My guess with the charger would be no. I've been under the impression that most readily available kits use threading specifically for their ecigs. I may be wrong though.

I started on a v2 myself. Great for starting out! Dont be surprised when if/when you wanna upgrade. Had mine for less than a month before i got an ego kit. Month later i ordered my vamo. (Im a sucker for shiny things)

I'm no better! already been looking at the provari and lavatube, but I'm not comfortable enough to go with the variable ones yet, and I really do prefer the smaller size, got both a manual and automatic because through my reading it does seem the manual gives a better set.

I would suggest to take it slow too. Makes the change a lot easier. Although slow might not be what you think. My problem was my state of mind being "It looks like a cigarette, feels like a cigarette, I want a cigarette!" lol. But i did cut down from a PAD to a pack a week. Been able to drop them completely since my ego. Some people have great success with cigalikes, i just wasnt one of them. Just keep researching and ask questions. Most of us started the same way.

*salute* I shall! Going to hold off on any "upgrades" after I get the v2 and stick with it for a while, try a few flavors. I do intend to upgrade to the refillable cartridges at some point, but again, going slow, so sticking to cartridges, finding what I like. I mostly picked them up as life is really not without stress, and drinking/cigars aren't really a good relief. To be honest the relaxation from the ecigs is phenominal in comparison. I'm not forced to go outside where I can't watch tv or play a game, I don't have to worry about smelling all kinds of funky on my way to work, or my car smelling bad and no one wanting to get in it, and no one in the house has even noticed I've been smoking them inside, so I'm definitely happy with how it is so far.

Alright! So my v2 cigs came in today, and my automatic finished charging, figured I'd give some input on them for any other newbies that read by my post!

For starters, just don't even bother with the Finiti if you have a walgreens around, I realized they had very little favor, but the difference is absolutely ridonkulous. I got 2 flavors, the V2 Red and the Vanilla, both at .6% (or 6mg of nicotine per 1000mg), and trying the Red currently...dear lord, soooooo tasty.

I very rarely inhale, but doing so with this leaves no bad burning feeling or unpleasantness. The flavor stays, and has something very familiar, I want to say cinnamon but I feel I'm wrong. It's just yummy!

I got the longs (same price as the shorter batteries, but longer charge and more puffs, couldn't argue with it) and while they are just a HAIR too long, it's tolerable, and they aren't too heavy (but heavy enough that I can't hold it in my mouth as I could with the Finiti's, but a breaking point).

So far I'm really excited for them, and I really like the fact that the flavor...cartomizers? (I believe I have the right word) Are individually packed in a foil, kinda how medication would be, just makes me feel like more care was taken to make sure nothing gets to them in transit, vs the Finiti extra pack where they are just stuck in a piece of plastic and open to the air.

Overall I highly recommend these guys as a beginner set, the Red tastes great and to be honest I can't wait to get a try to the Vanilla.

That's all for now!

EDIT: I CAN PLACE THE FLAVOR! It's pancakes...to be precise, it's pancake syrup. Maybe my taste buds are all out of wack, but I swear, it's pancake syrup!

:Toast: Fantastic! Vape the flavor.

Indeed I shall! Though I've cut back by about 2/3rds the amount from the Finiti, because it's super sweet, much like actual syrup, only so much at once before you feel unpleasant, but in smaller doses (maybe 10-15 puffs then about a half hour break), it's quite enjoyable, what's more is it actually is curbing my sweet tooth, which, thank goodness for, because I know for a fact there's this wonderful cookie dough downstairs xD
