Hello everyone! Noob needs some help

I have been reading a LOT of posts here at the ECF for the fast few days and have been looking into the e-cig scene on and off for over a year. I finally decided to take the plunge last week and ordered my first starter kit, along with one for my friend. Now since I am in India, and have no information about how the customs will deal with e-cigs and e-liquid, and also since I didnt want to be dependent on international shipping and customs for something that I might consume daily, I decided to get a kit from an Indian vendor, Electronic Cigarettes Rs. 250, E Cigs, E Cigarettes INDIA I got the cartomizer based kit for me and the cartridge / atomizer based kit for my friend. Now I have been looking at a lot of vape reviews, guides etc and am overwhelmed with model numbers, so I cant really place what model is the e-cig that I am using, would love some help on that. While this device has sort of proved to me the concept works for me, and I think I might adjust to it and actually kick the ...., the vapor from my e-cig is nowhere close to the vapor that I see in most of the reviews and not quite satisfactory enough. I am pretty sure I am using the right technique and drawing as slowly as possible. My friends given up already as his ecig constantly squirts liquid into the mouth even with the lowest possible draw.

So I guess I need something thats bigger / bader than the cigarette sized vapes, and am guessing from the reading I have done that the fatbat ego kinda models could work well for me. I dont need to emulate a cigarette and am fine with bigger sizes. So here go some of my requirements:

1. Durable, long lasting: Since I worry about constant shipping costs (it usually is high to India) and custom issues, I need a vape that has components that last long and are refillable / reusable more than usual. I am fine if the device costs more initially.

2. Some form of tank system that requires less refilling and is easy to refill

3. Dense vapor! I need to exhale vapor in the amounts that I exhale smoke from my analogs. This is important to complete the psychological satisfaction of smoking.

4. Must be available at an online store that ships to India.

I am not sure if eliquids can be shipped internationally into India, so I have identified a few eliquid vendors in India and could source the liquid from them while importing the e-cig and its parts. Do recommend accessories / parts that i should stock up.

There are a whole lot of discounts going on all over for Black Friday and Cyber Monday lately, so I'd love it if you could point me to the right place to buy the kit too!

Since you are in India, I would suggest you get a model that has removable batteries that you can get from battery stores. They cost much less and last 4 -5 times longer than the proprietary batteries that you must use with the ego or riva models.
The difference in the cost of the batteries is significant here in the US: $4 for the batteries I'm talking about instead of $15 - $20 for the ego/riva batteries. Here are the two I would suggest you look at:

E-Power 510, which is the same size/power level as the Riva and here is two places you can get it:

The other option is even better as it will provide warmer/fuller vapor than the ego/riva/e-power models because it is a 5 volt model. It also comes with a lifetime warranty:

And you can use any cartomizer or atomizer you prefer with these models.

I agree 100% with wv2win on the advice of the Epower as your preferred device - replaceable batteries make it an excellent deal.

I would add that you look at using it with a clear tank - perhaps similar to the ones sold by MadVapes which combines large liquid volume with an easily replaceable cartomizer.

Hey thanks for the advice! I agree that standard batteries are cost effective, however I have looked for these batteries for my flashlights and realized that these are not easily available in India and I have had to import them from sites online. Though I have a huge stash of protected CR123 batteries for my lights, but they are all 3.0V tenergy batteries. Do you think they will work with these vapes ?

I love the design of the glv2 mini, but can't quite figure if a tank system like the one in the egoT would be possible with it.

Also the epower link says that since the epower is slightly thicker than the ego, ego accessories won't work with it. Does that mean I need to get custom attys or cartos for it?

...the E-Power body, because it takes drop in batts is wider/fatter than an eGo/Riva but, it has a standard 510 connector and will take all regular 510 atty/cartos...a lot of mods that use 18650 batts can take (2) stacked cr123s...since they will put out 6v+, you should use 3.5+-ohm attys/cartos with them to keep from drawing too many amps causing your juice to burn or the atty/carto from blowing out..................

The GLV2 uses CR123A batteries. And you can use any tank/atty/cartomizer you want with the GLV2. The mini is only 3.7 volts where as the the slightly larger version is 5 volts. The 5 volt will deliver warmer, fuller vapor.

You might want to also look at the GLV3 which comes with a tank feeder attachment.

Just jumping in real quick. Hi and welcome! The cr123s will also fit into the REO Grand for 6 V vaping and the mod it's self is almost indestructible, its also a bottom feeder so it hold a huge 6mls of juice..Another option for you to concider Good Luck!
