Hello everyone , ive been vaping over a week now , and its great.
Now i have a question about my mvp 2.0 :
its supposed to have an overcharge protection , after its charged the green light will turn off , but if i inmediately unplug and plug it again , it will continue to charge over +-15 minutes until the green light will turn off again , if i repeat, the green light may or may not turn on.
just out of curiosity , how does that thing work?

consider this process

-unplug and plug again until green light turns on
-recharge for 15 minutes until the green light turns off
-repeat

could the indefinite repetition of this process cause an explotion?

thanks!

p.s : charging it via USB port on PC

hello, The USB on your PC will only push 50MA at 5volt. on a 2000ma battery this could take some time. I would recommend using a wall charger at 250MA+. Its like charging your phone from you computer, it takes forever. The charging process is not 100% exact for any battery. batteries also should be drained from time to time, This is why laptops always plugged in loose there battery life faster than ones that are charged and used more often.

I would charge it until it says its done. Vape on it until it hits the "red" then recharge and do it again.

I picked mods that use external batteries for this reason. Vape until it runs down, then replace with another battery.

thank you for yout answer
I am using it via usb port because i am not familiar with charger amperage , etc , and i only charged it after a week of use , so no big deal for me.
I understood your answer , but my original question remains
its out of curoisity , i dont have plans to make my avp explode , but if I repeated indefinitely the process I mentioned in my original post , would my mvp explode?
could the overcharge protection be bypassed this way?
(sorry for my english , not my native language :p)
thanks

I have the itaste, so the smaller still k version of the mvp 2 and it does the same thing. I simply assume that the first time it is charged and go on about my day. Whether it will or won't mess it up just don't do it. Lol
yeah , i will assume that it is charged after first turn off.
re plugged it first time because i thought that my itaste was malfunctioning or something , but it turned off after 10 minutes so it makes sense to assume that the overcharge protection its not 100% precise, still it didnt got warm or anything , so i think it works at pretty safe margins
i still feel curious if the overcharging protection can be bypassed by unplugging and re plug repeteadly till explotion , or if it would just break the device
but im not gonna put my safety on risk to test that :p
if someone is more informed in this subject please explain
