Hi there,

just found this forum and thought I would join - I'm from UK and e-cigs don't appear to be as popular here. Just started the other day but my charger broke, I managed to get a new one but that's another story!

It would be so much better if you could go to the shop for them but they have to be ordered online.

Anyway I have to say that I've not had a real cigarette since I got my e-cig. I don't even feel like I've given up because they are so good!:D:D

Will have to get used to the different words used.

Analogues - that must be 'real' cigarettes?

Also I notice 'juice' is used a lot on here. I have an e Cig that has a battery, vaporiser and then you get cartridges. Am I right in assuming that in the States the cartidges you get you can put your own 'juice' in them?

I'm not sure I can do that with mine but would be interested to know because in the end no doubt it will be cheaper!

Correct on both accounts. Search away, yes it is much cheaper.

Welcome and enjoy the forum. I've been off analogues for 8 months. PVs are a great replacement.

Welcome zapper

Glad you decided to give e-cigs a try and kick the analogs to the curb. I think you find a ton of useful information here, and hopefully meet some friendly folks along the way.

If you weren't aware, there's a UK specific sub-forum here. You can read through it for now and after a few more posts (I think 5) you'll be able to post in there. UK Forum

Good luck mate:)

Thanks Karl - that's interesting and should help me. As I said it's not as popular in the UK as it seems to be 'over the pond'.

Welcome to the forum! Just a word of advice, the chargers that come with the eCig kits are seriously unreliable, so I always keep a spare or two handy. Thanks for posting.

I know and I'm gonna get a couple more it's awful to think you can't charge them!!

Welcome to ECF !
Is there no way to refill your cartridges ?????
You should be able to just add more juice to them !!!

I'm not sure? The cartridges I have are plastic and there's a tinfoil bit that once you add to the vapouriser it breaks and the nicotine comes out. If there was a way I could re-use them that would save me loads. I'd have to know where to get the juice from as I'm not sure they do that here in the UK.

Thanks so much to all of you for your help.

Welcome!
I too am a noobie, but wifey is a hardcore.
I still (hiding from the onslaught) occaisionally have an analog but I am working my way down as I find new techniques and flavors.

That's good that your wife can show you what to do. Must admit I was a bit overwhelmed when I first got my kit.

I really do wish there was a shop where you could get the stuff instead of having to order online though. It's like if your charger doesn't work or you run out of cartridges - that's what worries me!
