Just another new member saying hello, was introduced to e-cigs by a relative so I'm doing my due diligence in reading up more about it.

Definitely the information is overwhelming but I'm eager to seek out more. Quite motivated that my relative have stayed off analogs for 8 months already so I'm quite excited to leave my 20 stick a day lifestyle behind me!

Hey thanks jj2, yup yup, been reading a ton since I found this site.

Thank you as well Boodle, I'm looking at the Janty eGo at the moment. One aspect of vaping that intrigues me is the ability to be able to mix flavours. Brings me back to days of smoking the pipe and mixing all the different flavours without the hassle of packing the tobacco into the pipe.

That's awesome to hear santo! Congrats on staying off, looking forward to getting my own kit and start.

One question though (I may have missed it out during the reads), but how do I determine what level of nicotine should I get? Should I base it off of the analogs that I'm smoking (ie. 13mg tar, 1.0 ml nic)? I do apologize if I missed out info on this.

thats how i did it, pack a day , started at 24mg, after a couple months was able to go down to 18mg.
at first i had to vape 24mg beacause i really wanted to stay off ciggys and i didnt want to be too irratable, so i vaped alot. if you do too much you will know, like when you used to smoke too many cigs at once, light headed and swirly stomach,, after a while i was able to get down to less vapeing and less mg like 16mg.

i had a couple of friends that joined me in vapeing at work, one person was able to put down the e-cig in just 2 months of vapeing, and the other friend did too after 4 months, they were very greatfull that i introduce the e-cig to them, because they wernt able to quit ciggys any other way.. good luck dude..

Ahh, so if I smoke 20+ sticks a day, I should go for 24mg juices. Noted with thanks sir!

You might want to start with 18-24mg. Get some of each because I bet the 24mg is going to be a little strong for you. It's tricky because with vaping, we don't absorb ALL the nicotine like we did smoking...unless you hold the vapor in long enough not to exhale any. Exactly what we absorb?...I don't know but it's less than you think. I've read between 20-50% but until testing is done, we won't know.
