Hello everyone! I been ghosting this forum for a while, but I figured I might as well come out to be a member. I started vaping a year ago, however, I went back to analogs at the end of 2011 for six months until now. I smoked various standard e-cigs, but the drop in voltage was just not cutting it for me, hence back to analog. That is until I saw my friend vaping a provari, I knew I had to try one, so I'm back to vaping on a provari with a dct 1.5 resistance tank and boy... VV are so much better! Anyhow, hello to everyone!

Thanks kwalka! Yeah, when I vape I don't think about analogs at all, it's just that when I run out of juice and get the cravings I can't help but to buy a pack of analogs until juice comes in the mail. To be honest, I learned a lot from this forum just reading threads. But, if I have questions I will be sure to hit you guys/gals up for advice!

Ok Riho, I'm calling you out right now.... There is no need to run out of juice;) Were talking about your life here. So be proactive and stock up, so that doesnt happen. Right now I haven't bought juice in at least 8 weeks and I have enough on hand to last at least another 8 weeks. I'm also getting ready to place a large juice order. Thats how this process works. Keep a lot on hand. Especially with FDA "deeming" regulation hanging over our heads. We are to the point where at any time they(FDA) could cut us off completely, by outlawing mailing juice or banning juice altogether until they can begin and finish their testing process, which could take years. So given the fact that juice lasts for years I would recommend stocking up at least enough foe a few months. Which would be enough to get one thru the DIY learning curve. Once we learn how to make it ourselves then we would be able to order the ingredients from China and get around any regulation or ban. Some will disagree with me and call me an alarmist, and many will agree with me 100%. There are members out there with gallons of strait nic in deep freeze, just for said occasion.

Not to start anything, especially since I have about 400ml of juice, but they can't ban it. The courts have ruled that ecigs are a tobacco product. Because of that, they can never be banned. The FDA tried really hard to get them classified as a drug delivery device but the court ruled against them. That's why they can not be sold as a smoking cessation device, just an alternative to smoking.

With that being said, you should stock up. There are so many places to get quality juice inexpensively and many of them even give free 10-15 ml bottles to new customers. Vapedudes.com even has a 40% off coupon right now

Yeah, one of the reasons I don't stock up was because I am worried that the juice I get might not taste the way I like it to be. That or I would eventually become bored of the current flavor. But I have found a couple now that I am interested in (ex. Grape!) that I wouldn't mind stock piling. Btw, what are some flavors that you guys like? And thanks for the vapedudes.com suggestion!

Vapedudes gives away 15 free 10ml bottles a day with the code fbfree. If it doesn't work, try the next day. You can use that code and the 40% off one on the same order too. My favorites from them are: buttery nipple, watermelon drip, spearmint, banana cream, fruity stripes. I use 70pg/30vg with extra flavor and 6-11mg of nic. The have several options on the pg/vg ratio

I agree with not buying big bottles till you know you like it. Just get 5-10ml bottles from a lot of sources till you find what you like. You can get 6 bottles from vapedudes for $15. That's a great way to try juice and have plenty in case you run low. They are fast shippers too

Greetings from Canada! Welcome to ECF!

For me it is not about an ADV or any one flavor. I enjoy the fact that there are so many different flavors, some great, some not so much! I don't stock my fridge with one food that is my favorite, I have some food I like a lot and a variety of others that I change around. It would be boring for me to eat one food all the time or vape only one flavor forever.

Try smaller bottles of different varieties of e-juice. Stock up on some larger bottles that are going to be used more. Even an unflavored juice (with nic) can get you through times between orders. Gallons are not necessary but you should do an accounting and have a 'Prudent Reserve'.

Relax, Enjoy!

Thats not starting anything except a great debate. Which IMO is a good thing. WTS, I would like to see some proof or documentation ( not that I dont think your an honest joe or anything) saying that they are a tob product, because that would submit them to a 32% sin tax. Please dont hold me to that term or #, but I'm pretty sure if your statement was true the price would of gone thru the roof and also internet sales would of been outlawed.
Next topic: When I said stockpile I was talking about juice or diy materials that one enjoys. I certainly wouldn't expect anyone to buy any quantity of something they didnt like.
Whats up w vapedudes? Why haven't I ever heard of them? (not that I know everything, just close to everything). How is the juice? How many of you use it on a reg basis and can speak highly of them? Well? Huh, I cant hear you..... Ok I guess thats a no. :D

Hello! I am so new I'm still a smoker. Just discovered all of this 2 days ago and trying to sift through the humungous amount of information and figure out where to get started. But, I did run across this which may answer the question above. I looked for it because I didn't want to start something to try and quit smoking only to have it taken away soon. Looks like that won't be a worry. Read here: http://www.onlineprnews.com/news/131461-1303836584-consumer-group-praises-fda-concession-to-court-of-appeals-ruling.html

Oh! And also just read this from the same site in a FAQ section about the safety of e=cigarettes (may answer the tax question): "Are e-cigarettes approved or regulated by the FDA?

The FDA currently considers e-cigarettes to be tobacco products. Originally, it claimed that e-cigarettes are being used as smoking cessation devices and therefore they needed to be regulated the same as pharmaceutical nicotine replacement therapy drugs (NRTs). In 2009, the FDA ordered customs officials to start seizing e-cigarette shipments coming into the country.

On April 25, 2011, FDA announced in a letter to stakeholders that it would not appeal the decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit in Sottera, Inc. v. Food & Drug Administration, stating that e-cigarettes and other products are not drugs/devices unless they are marketed for therapeutic purposes, but that products "made or derived from tobacco??? can be regulated as "tobacco products??? under the FD&C Act. The FDA stated that it is aware that certain products made or derived from tobacco, such as electronic cigarettes, are not currently subject to pre-market review requirements of the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act. It is developing a strategy to regulate this "emerging class of products" as tobacco products under the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act. Products that are marketed for therapeutic purposes will continue to be regulated as drugs and/or devices.

Contrary to some media reports and comments by legislators, regulation as a "tobacco product" under FSPTCA does not mean that e-cigarettes are automatically regulated in the exact same manner as tobacco cigarettes, ie., subject to PACT, flavoring prohibitions and indoor use bans nor subject to the same tax rates. However, it does mean sales of these products to minors are finally prohibited by law."

On 7 December 2010, the appeals court ruled against the FDA in a 3–0 unanimous decision, ruling the FDA can only regulate electronic cigarettes as tobacco products, and thus cannot block their import.[43] The judges ruled that such devices would only be subject to drug legislation if they are marketed for therapeutic use – E-cigarette manufacturers had successfully proven that their products were targeted at smokers and not at those seeking to quit. The District of Columbia Circuit appeals court declined to review the decision blocking the products from FDA regulation as medical devices on 24 January 2011.

They can regulate them, but not ban them. Because they are a tobacco product they can't be banned.

Vapedudes is a juice company in Texas. Their juice is very good. I have not had one flavor that wasn't good. They offer a free bottle, as do many companies, to new customers. Their juice can be made with different concentrations on pg/vg and nic level. They also have good coupons.

Why would you knock a company you haven't tried yet? Since they will send you a free bottle, shipping included, maybe you should try them
