Hello everyone, my name's Tyler. I am 18 years old and from Ohio. I currently do not smoke cigarettes and recently have picked up a cheap eGo after being introduced to them at work. Although I do not currently smoke cigarettes, I did when I was 14/15. I do smoke nice hand-rolled cigars about once every week or two. The smell of cigarettes is still inviting to me, and I work at a place where nearly everyone uses nicotine in some form (outside job). It's the type of job where you pretty much need to have something to do while you're working if that makes any sense. I enjoy vaping, and it is definitely a nice thing to be able to do while at work. I do however understand the extremely addictive properties of nicotine. I plan to get some non-nicotine juice to swap out with the 18mg juice I have every now and then. When it comes down to it though I am just looking for some feedback - I know many of you have had a long struggle with cigarette addiction and look down upon non-smokers taking up vaping. Thanks in advance.

I think you're entitled to do what you want. That being said...I wish I never started smoking to begin with. Nicotine addiction is not fun, nor something to play with. I have been smoking for more than 15 years and have tried to quit more times than I can count. I'm currently trying again with vaping. If you like to vape, try to stick to nicotine free. I wouldn't wish a nicotine addiction on my worst enemy.

I wouldn't say we "look down" on you :) Just be aware that 18mg of nic is fairly high & you will get addicted if you continue with it. That being said, if you're bored or looking to "fit in" why not just go with 0 nic? All the taste & none of the addiction? :)

I'm definitely not trying to fit in haha, it's just the job can be so monotonous and having something to do such as vaping really makes it go faster. I understand 18mg is fairly high, and oddly enough I don't feel that much of anything when I inhale it. I think I will only inhale every so often, and the other times just hold it in my mouth and enjoy the flavor. And get some 0 or very light nicotine juice.

When I grew up this was a free country, so as far as I'm concerned you can do as you please. Vaping is not tobacco, it is something entirely different. You could try 0mg nic with at least 50% PG to get the 'sensation' of throat Hit, or TH. I wouldn't necessarily vape or smoke to 'fit in', that's how I started smoking forty years ago. Try several genres of e-liquids ( Sweets, Bakery, Teas, Tobaccos, etc.) to see if you really enjoy them, but I would suggest you go no higher than 6mg nicotine if you are not a regular tobacco smoker.
