I'm a new member. I have quitted smoking cigarettes three times. Just started e-cig after a week of quitting cigarettes for my last time. I'm really addicted to the e-cig. I have a few questions. One, is the non-nicotine juice just as physically addictive as the nicotine e-liquid. I'm not psychologically addicted to anything really, just the physicality. Also, do any of you remember using it excessively when you first got the e-cig, then notice using it less later (non-nicotine user question there). Also, I read a mix for distilled water, vodka and flavoring as used as a e-liquid. I was thinking about using those and a koolaid flavor dropper enhancer. Clever? Or disasterly?

Anyways hello all.

Welcome to the forum Deeronj,
Congrats on leaving the smokes behind!
Many folks use 0 nic juice. Depends on what you need/want. I've had some 0 nic juice that I loved, although I'm a high nic person.

Do you know what is in that "koolaid flavor enhancer"? Doesn't sound safe to vape to me! You also need something more than water, vodka and flavor to vape. Those items are only the smallest part of vaping. You need PG and/or VG for the vapor.

Hello and welcome!

If you are using 0 nic, there should not be anything to get physically addicted to, or to perpetuate a physical addiction. Psychological addiction is another matter.

Check out the DIY forum here for tips on how to make your own liquid. I don't think what you have listed there would make a safe or vapable liquid. But, they are easy and cheap to make, especially if you don't want nicotine. You just need to know the basic ingredients and how to combine them.

Hello there! I am a new member as well, nice to meet ya! The non-nicotine ejuice would not be addicting. Sounds like maybe it is about being addicted to the action of smoking or vaping. Holding something, the hand to mouth stimulation, seeing the smoke or vapor. That is my addiction as well. I have not tried the distilled water, vodka and flavoring. But if you choose to DIY then you can get by with some pg, vg, and flavoring and be good to go.

Thanks all of of you. For some reason quitting cigarettes this time, despite doing it before, it is a little more difficult. Glad to hear non-nicotine vapor is just as good as nico type. I don't mind having an addiction, as long as I don't feel ....ty about doing it. I used to always bash myself for smoking around people who don't like smoke. This is a breakthrough, glad we live in the times of where it exists.
