Hi to all in the vape community.

Just wanted to write a general thanks to the seniors in this community. This is a great resource and I've learnt so much from just reading this forum over the last week.

I live in a country where vaping is illegal so diy resources really come in handy.

I've only just started with a kangertech subox kit and have build three coils with the rba mini. First time beginners luck had great success followed by two terrible ones where I got major dry hits and terrible flavor.

Also tried making my own juice with both success and failures. Screwed up two OCC attys from trying stuff out.

Nevertheless, working to refine the process and aspire towards consistent enjoyable vapes!

I agree 100%. Coils seem easy enough to figure out. Especially with my kbox mini. Comes with the screen so I can test the ohms reading easily.

The wicking is really the tough bit. Gotta make sure I cover the juice holes just enough so I don't get overflow that causes leaks and yet have enough juice coming in so no dry hits. Deck on the mini rba is tiny as well so needs good judgement.

The good thing is wire and cotton is cheap so I can just keep trying until I get it right.

Anyway, since starting vaping (slightly more than a week), I've only smoked 4 analogues and interestingly enough, I didn't enjoy it one bit.

I started vaping before the technology matured and back then with some brand less ecig, experience was terrible. Dry hits all the time 90% of the time.

So surprised when I tried it again with my subox kit. Warm and flavorful.

Got a new rda coming soon and am super stoked to try it out.
