I'm glad I sent SJ a PM a couple of days back and asked about this and to see it become a reality is fantastic.

Let's hope we can make good use of the space we've been given.

I've only just begun as a supplier and in conjunction with my supplier I have begun selling on ebay ... or should that be greed bay and shipping direct to customers from the factory in Shenzhen by HK Mail. My Auctiva store front is E-Cigarette World. Quality Products & Supplies

What happened to all your e-cig stuff on ebay?? I was just checking out your site and noticed that all of it is no longer listed?

I appear to be targetted by ebay, they have removed all of my listings for two reasons, first they say that electronic cigarettes are in violation of their tobacco listing policy and yet there are over 400 other listings for e-cigs still active. I use auctiva to provide a store front and get the URL E-Cigarette World. Quality Products & Supplies to use for people to go to that store. I put the URL as a watermark on all my images and ebay thinks that is my trying to avoid paying ebay fees by directing buyers to another website, which of course it doesn't, it only points to the auctiva store front that can hold nothing but active ebay listings.

Basically it's a mess I'm trying to get sorted out ... not holding much hope though as dealing with ebay is frustrating to say the least.

I just went through the same thing with AdWords and lost... Good luck, I hope that you get things worked out.

Phylo, I been through the same with adwords, Its a catch twenty-two situation. You cant advertise anything with pictures of Cigarettes or the mention of tabacco. And in the UK you cant advertise them as smoking cessation devices. I think the only way is to change your IP address and url frequently or have a subdomain; thats one one supplier seems to be doing as they always seem to have adwords running pointing to a very basic page. Ive just had a letter from the MRHA regarding this, they wanted me to make changes to my website or they would close me down. UK suppliers be warned they told me they were writing to 20 other people in connection with it. They have now given me the ok though to carry on. It wasnt really a surprise as I know Elixir went through the same process. Im expecting a letter from the tranding standards next :) as MRHA stated they had concerns regarding the charges and they would be informing TS.

I'm really pleased we now have this locked section to the forum its something I asked Smokeyjoe about some time ago. I hope we make good use of it, Im sure there will come a day when we will need each others support and collaborate together.

hey paxes yeah know what its like we went through exactly the same thing and because we went into this in a big way it cost us a fortune we had to reprint all of our packaging and wording and even our brandname which used to be quitorette but because this apparently tells customers the product will help them quit smoking we had to change names it cost us a fortune. and this was all due MRHA. you would think they would have something better to do with their time.

what are the rules on selling E liquid on ebay? I am going to be making some liquid sample packs in the next two weeks to help out the newbies when they are trying to find their flavour. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks guys

You should be fine ... I know Jane sells her Kick Juice on ebay with no issues. Just be careful how you label it I guess. Nicotine is considered a pharmaceutical which is not allowed on ebay!

just be careful! :)

Does anyone now if google adwords relaxed their policy regarding e-cigs? Normally I expect my advert to be disapproved after a couple of weeks. At at the moment that isnt the case and that seems true with other suppliers, more every day. Are they getting the message that these dont contain tobacco. I dont want to email them, last time I did that they stopped them running.

I think they must have.. For a long while there I was getting my adds disapproved on an almost daily basis. I finally got sick of it and had them refund my remaining balance and then a month later on a whim decided to see if they were gonna pull the same thing. I have now been rocking adwords for well over a month without them disapproving any adds. I have been reluctant to email them as well.. if it aint broke dont fix it!
