Hi,

I started vaping in November 2011. First experience was not so nice, I fell for a really expensive first-generation 510 starter kit when I could have had a 510-T starter kit for half the price :( I wish I had asked on this forum beforehand, but I was lazy and simply googled for 2min - the above-mentioned online store must have heavily invested in google ads...

anyway, by now I've also tried eGo-C and many cartomizers (which I kinda prefer compared to atomizer+tank), I'm having HUGE fun mixing my own liquids (bought a 0.01g-scale for that) and now I would like to join some discussions on this forum, and ask a few very specific questions.

I really really enjoy vaping, some cartomizers work so well, I'm thrilled. This is so much better than smoking... :)

best regards,
-Elo

I was wondering if it's possible that a cartomizer produces less smoke when operated with too much Volt. This is what I am using:

- the "New CE2 clearomizers for 510/eGo" from Healthcabin
- the MOD tube from Healthcabin with an Ultrafire 18650 protected battery (I measured the voltage, it's about 4.1V at the moment)
- a variable voltage battery that I am operating at 3.2V (I checked, it's really 3.2V give or take 0.1V)

I noticed that those cartomizers produce more vapor when used at 3.2 Volt. Is this normal? There is no burning taste with both batteries. I thought with the stronger battery it will be either burning taste or more vapor. Instead, it's less vapor and no burning taste...

TYPO ALERT: I think Kay meant to say that more VG=more vapor.

For what it's worth, my wife uses Bauway 2ohm CE2's (from MadVapes) on her Indulgence, which powers them at 3.1-3.3 volts, and she gets a metric sh!!-ton of vapor. As to the "strength" of the battery, your 18650 will push similar voltages to, say, a 510 battery, or even a cigarette-lookalike battery - it will just push that voltage for MUCH longer before needing to be charged. You may want to check out the reisitance on the CE2 you're using; a touch lower might be what you're looking for.
