hello all, nice to be here.....finally! i've been debating the whole vape thing for a while now. after years of trying to quit smoking, using all the patch's, lozenges, gums, hypnotism...... seems my habit was so hard since i began smoking at the old age of 12, 45 years later here i am an cig free man! happy days! i did some research, thanks to google my good friend, i purchased an Omega from Altsmoke, and after i got the idea and preped my first vape i am now smoke free 3+ weeks now.

i am so happy, the cigs were starting to make their mark health wise, but now i can feel the reversal of the effects of the horrible habit. smell, taste returning, now i can smell my nasty furniture soaked in cig residue. and the cost i will save in my future will far outweigh my daily cost of $7+ a day for my american spirit cigs.

i dont want to begin my time here rambling.

so thanks for being here guys and gals

Greetings! I lived in summit county from 92-99 and worked for a ski area. I loved CO. I miss it more often than I would like to admit to myself.

One thing that helped me with acronyms and abbreviations is the built in pop-up if you hover over anything in a post that has a light dotted line below it. Very useful function on the site.

so far i am, but after much searching i see this site needs a dictionary thread, common terms, it is all too often i am reading and the people writing speak in vapespeak? so some of the article is lost to me.

Congratulations, and just so you know, quite a few vapespeak abbreviations in this forum will be linked to their meanings. For example, if you see ANTZ - see how it's highlighted? Just hover your mouse over it for the translation.

dry indeed my friend! i just got back from helping my son drive back from the east coast. he ETA'd from the army 2 weeks ago, and we spent a week on the east coast, i prefer dry and hot to damp and hot any day!

But it's a dry heat, so it's all good... BWAHAHAHAHA. :::: thud ::::

thats why i went with the american spirits batt life is much longet, in hindsight thats would be a big negative as well.
as far as still needing the cig every now and than i do too, but i just say no and suckle at the Omega, red hots all day long! you know, in the right state of mind i find my vaping to be so similar that since i am still so new to vaping, and cigs still in my rear view mirror, that after a good vape i might get up, or even something as simple as get back to what i was doing before vaping and my mind tells me to put my cig out? now thats habit!

Colorado for the win! Been here my whole life. Quit smoking analogs about a week ago. I guess I shouldn't say quit. I still need a cigarette every now and then... I've tried quitting with ecigs 3 times now and with an inferno it's gotten much easier. Forget cig style ecigs, the batteries are horrible haha
