Hello fellow ECF members! I have been vaping on and off for about a year now and am starting to get serious about it after quitting analogs about a month ago. I started out with a regular EGO small battery and using cartomizers inside of tanks and finally upgraded to a new mod.

I just got in the mail the lovely VAMO with a couple of 18350 IMR batteries and a smoktek 1.5 dual coil cartomizer with tank. A couple questions I have would be what would the recommend voltage or wattage be for the 1.5 dual coil cartomizer? Do you guys recommend a higher ohm cartomizer and should it be dual? Or am I okay with 1.5 duals? Also is it okay to stack the two 18350 batteries?

Thanks for the responses and I am happy to be aboard a great forum!

Hi and welcome to ECF. Just screw in your carto and set the wattage @ 7.5. Raise the wattage until you're happy with the vape. Most vape anywhere from 7.5- 9.0 watts.

That would be for a single coil carto, Vapoor. With 1.5 ohm dual coils you need the extra wattage because they have two coils instead of just one.

As for longevity of your cartos that will depend on:
the darkness of the juice
high VG juice also clogs a carto quicker
first fill of the carto is VERY important- if it's not first filled properly the filler will burn and it's finished. Make sure it's fully saturated with juice.
You should get at least a week out of the carto. Many of us have moved on to carto+ tank or clearomizer/ tanks systems.
