Long time reader; first time poster. :D

Thanks to my best friend Scooby and a my work partner Geno; I have successfully stopped smoking for about 20 days now. I was a 1.5-2PAD smoker that had given vaping a try about two and a half years ago unsuccessfully.
Back then I was huffing on your basic ego with a drip tip. I contribute the fact that it didn't work to a lack of general exposure, my need to smoke often, and a fear that people would complain about me vaping, thinking it's a cigarette. Back then, bar attendees constantly griped about my brother (I think he's active on here as "porkchopsisgood") vaping (Louisville is a smoke free city).

Today, with my two hommies above and watching them vape hastle free at work and out-and-about, I gave it a successful go. Started on a Saturday, and by Tuesday I had my first hiccup; battery died while working 2nd shift at BFE middle school, Middle of Nowhere. I smoked 10 cigarettes that night, and waking up Wednesday morning reminded me why I had to quit; tired, hard to breathe, stuffy headed, etc. I'm confident now that if vaping doesn't work out, I will not return to smoking.

I'm a tinkerer by nature; and it would appear that vaping is no exception. I'll post up some pics here shortly of my Lambo/cart-tank combo here today. For now, I must give the wife a little attention.

Thanks everyone for a great site! It has been my research go-to all this time. I have no less than six widows on my Android linked to this site covering various topics. There's no shortage of research material here. :)

Thanks for the warm welcomes guys!

Mt. Washington. Been an electrician for a great while now. I worked for a defunct company called Guelda Electric there in Mt. Washington and wired many a house in that area. Felt like I was there to watch it grow. Hillview, Fern Creek, and up into the backside of Taylorsville is where we stayed for the longest, if I wasn't doing HUD work downtown or around Appliance Park. I've lived in Shively for the past ten years; but my heart is in the South End.

I purchased my Lambo from DFW on Dixie Hwy. It's almost within a smoker's walking distance. :p Give me a month, and I'll probably make it a point to walk up there as a milestone.
The IBTanked carto/tank was purchased directly from them. Didn't realize until this past Friday that DFW sells IBT too. Live and learn, I guess.
Lately, I've been buying my juice at Cool Breeze Vapor. I love the vibe there a lot. (See, it's that South End love; it can't be denied.) The juices I've been mixing; 2/3 Banana Cream Pie, 1/3 Red Hots; is super clean tasting. I'm trying to come up with the perfect tonguegasm; I think it needs a hint of a coffee.
Do you have any more suggestions on B&Ms? My brother told me there are some vaping meets somewhere here in Louisville. I'd love to check the scene out.

BeRight, if you dig the Derby vibe, I highly recommend attending Thunder over Louisville. It's one heck of a kick-off for the Derby season. I HATE big crowds; and I enjoy Thunder downtown. This year will be especially nice, as the Blue Angels will be performing again after a long hiatus. The peace that settles over the massive crowd as the firework show goes on is something to behold. It's like 1 million people turning into five year olds again; nestled in their father's arms, as he points to narrate what we are witnessing for the first time. Yeah, it's Hallmark like that. :D

I think I've figured out how to download some pics of my rig. Here goes nothing.

I used what is known in the motocross world as race tape to cover my Lambo. It's a pebble grained rubber tape. It reminds me of old Fender amps.It was a pain getting everything lined up; and in the end result, I was still a smidge off to the right of center.

I was able to unscrew the upper portion to make a clean edge. The bottom was a given.

Here's another photo showing the seam, and the Aerotank which has now been shelved.

Now rockin' an IBT cargo/tank...

...which I LOVE!!! Plus it allowed me to suit up a bit for karakoe on the weekends. :D

I drilled a small hole in the top of the screen, and used a tabletop belt grinder to widen the hole; in an attempt to avoid crushing or twisting the screen. A tad bit off center; but sits well. A rubber grommet will tidy things up completely; I just have to get off my tush and find one.

To reduce the inner diameter of the base, I used clear packing tape to seal the bottom edge and filled the bottom with Amazing Casting Resin; the depth equal to the screen's bottom band. I then used a 7/8" hole saw to bore the casting resin to the correct inner diameter.

For now, it's donnage. For the $7 investment, I may start over to make a really clean one. Next time, I'll bore the top hole with a small hole saw in my drill press (it's down right now) to a diameter of a known rubber grommet, and add black to the dating resin to skip having to use a Sharpie to color it black. For now, I'm cool with it. It gets the point across; I'm simply .... about such things.

Thanks for looking. :)

Cincinnati
Hello from Cincinnati! I am really getting into sampling different juices. Nicquid is made in Ohio and they have some great flavors: mintoid, sinapse, strawberry fuzz. I also enjoy Vermillion River Jolly Grape and Blue Slushie. I tried a couple from Mt. Vapor Baker (sour apple rings, watermelon, and another one), they were okay. I discovered Tampa Vapor while on vacation (they have a great Strawberry, Watermelon, and a Marlboro Smooth liquid that us spot on.)

Hello hello.

That Mt. Vapor Baker keeps coming up; I'm gonna have to check them out. I've been seeking desert type flavors lately, tapping into a savory tooth, if you will. Although lately I find myself digging on some fruits and candies. I picked up some Space Jam Pluto while at Derb E Cigs, mixing some coffee flavors in every now and then if I feel the need for more "body" in the vapor. I really liked 5 Pawns Gambit, but DEC was out of stock. I found it enigmatic in a very good way, much like Boba's.

Speaking of Boba's. Guess who purchased the bootleg Alien Vapors version? 120ml of kick-myself-in the-..... Another SOHK lesson, payed in full. Hopefully it's at least decent enough to cut with other flavors.

While sampling some seasonal flavors at DFW today, I tried out their Mint Julep. I don't drink, so I was skeptical; but it turned out to be a very nice, clean mint flavor. It's on sale right now, plus it comes with a T-shirt. Twelve and change for 30ml and swag is pretty cool.
