Greetings from New Jersey!
This is an interesting question. I tend not to vape in indoor establishments just to avoid the hassle. There was a recent TV news item on a local Michigan television station concerning the proposed legislation to limit e-Cig sales to adults. The station contacted the Michigan Department of Health and was informed there are no laws concerning their use however "It is up to the establishment" as to whether they are permitted. I think the prudent thing to do would be inquire from the management of their policy before seating. If declined politely inform them you will take your business to a "Vape Friendly" establishment. Their are a lot of ANTZ in the Ann Arbor area being a college town. Perhaps some of the locals can advise you of a place or places. Good idea to ask! It will be interesting to find out.
BTW chaps, ;-) What is the attitude like with regards to vaping in bars and restaurants in the Ann Arbor area? Do any of them welcome it or do 99% of them tell you to go outside?
The way this trip works is that 20-30 of us descend on a different restaurant every night, so I don't get any choice, although if someone has a recommendation I can probably get it added to the itinerary.
Oh, and get rid of that snow before next week, OK?
I am a noob too. Smoked at least a pack a day for 44 years. Been vaping for almost two weeks and no cigs for 8 days.
Good Mornin' Michigan and ECF. Happy Spring, with snow...of course, it's Michigan.
Hey, I can get my bike on the river trail again, I'm a happy man!
Yup it is spring. Went on the annual doggy poop patrol yesterday. Nice an sloppy out. When do the floods begin?
