I wanted to say hello to everyone. I've been by this site in passing, but I wanted to sign up and dive it a bit.

About me: I've been "analog" free since May (271 Days) and I largely have vaping to thanks for that. Until last week, I used SafeCig. I am thankful to Safecig and think they make a quality product, but two batteries crapping out in the same week gave me the push to expand my horizons.

So glad I did. I'm currently loving it and wishing I had moved past pre-packaged product earlier. Last week when I got my first package in the mail (ego-C Twist ; Vivi Nova ; USB Passthrough) I made another order for more that very night (another twist, another nova, some drip tips.)

I'm even currently awaiting more packages: an atomizer to try dripping, some boge cartos to give them a try, more drip tips(I fear I may be fostering a new addiction.) I also have a chrous line of liquids coming down the lane to try. I'm currently enjoying Vapedude's Grand Prairie immensely, but I'm extremely excited to try AV Boba's and the Pipe Juice sampler (both currently in transit to me.)

Non-vaping, I'm big into hobby board games (designer/euro/etc) and an active volunteer for Odyssey of the Mind.

Oh! I do have a question/discussion topic to append to my intro. Rebuild-able atomizers. I'm a bit of a crafter so trying rebuild-able seems like a no-brainer to me. I'm not in any rush. I figured I'd ease into it like I would into a warm bath (although Pbusardo's recent 'epiphany' video gives me an urge to go nuts.) There's a lot of info out there. Where is a good place to start learning/research? Is there anything rebuild-able veterans wish they did when they were first starting?
(I apologize in advance if this has been beaten to death in the forums.)

Anyway. again... Hi to everyone at ECF,

Malhaku/Jeremy

Awesome! I quit around 6 months ago and have been using a SMOK battery and tank. I really want to branch out with a VV Battery and would like to get a nicer tank. I am not really sure how the Drip Vaping works yet but haven't really looked into it yet either. You are way ahead of me in figuring out all the details. Would love to attend a meet up if there is one coming up?

Hello all. I'm also a new member/new vaper from Rochester, NY. I've only been completely analog free for 4 days now... but not bad considering I only cheated a couple times on day one and two and hated it EVERY time. I didn't imagine it would be so easy to kick tobacco to the curb, after 13 years of 1-2 pad smoking.

I ended up with a Smoov XL650 (I was trying to pick up a Vision Spinner 1300mah) and a couple of the Smoov disposable clearos (stardust style) just to get me through til my web order comes in... also grabbed a couple bottles of liquid to get me going. I figure the Smoov XL will make a great back up batt once I get my Spinner in, especially since it has built in passthrough. I should be receiving my first order from ECigCharleston tomorrow... its in a the local depot ready for delivery... holiday had to get me. So excited. I have the Vision Spinner, 2 Vision Vivi Nova Mini, a 3 pack of 2.4 ohm replacement atomizer coils, charger, 808/901 to 510 adapter, case and a couple of drip tips.

The Smoov Disposable clearos really suck... I feel confident saying so even though they are my only experience so far. I grabbed two, one of them had a faulty tip and destroyed the inner seal almost immediately after I filled it the first time. I have been limping on almost a week on the other one and am getting pretty good life out of it, due to the fact I am cleaning it out nightly and letting it dry completely before re-fill. One thing I have noticed as they get a bit leaky as soon as they get near the 0.8ml mark. I have Liquid Volt Desert Joe in there now and its getting close the the leak point. I think I am going to top it off for my night this evening with some RY4 and see how that goes, I tried a 3 to 1 mix of RY4/Desert Joe the other day and it gave the RY4 a bit of a woody tobacco taste that was quite pleasant to me.

My first order from MadVapes should be in a few days from now as well... I forgot to order one thing, I really need to get a good dripping atomizer set up going. Any thoughts on the M06?

I have to say, I spent about a week or more lurking these forums and soaking up as much information as I could before I went and made the investment in the equipment. A huge thank you is in order for so many of the members of this forum, far too many to list. This place is great!

You will become very close with your mailman, I know I did.

I might never get to know my home mail man. I live in a building with 5 private entrances, no doorbells, and I worry about getting packages delivered successfully. I get everything delivered to work... saves me the hassle of finding out after the post office is closed that I have to go there to get a package. :2cool:

Been tight with those delivery guys for years now.

Welcome mirrorim, did you get the Smoov stuff from Elabs, thats were i saw it anyway

Three Days Smoke Shop, an outbuilding in the Wal Mart parking lot on Chili Ave. The guy I dealt with seemed pretty knowledgeable. I haven't checked out ELab, or Dewey Ave Smoke Shop yet... I think Smokers Choice has some stuff too but I haven't stopped in. I called before I made my ECigCharleston order to see if they had any of the items I was going to get in stock, they did not and I stopped my investigation there. I am planning on stopping in there sometime to check out their selection, but not sure when.

The Smoov battery life is a lot better than I imagined, the factory charge lasted me a day and a half before it died on me, charged it a few times since to full and it hasn't let me down yet. I would like to know what voltage that battery is operating at, since my setup is about to get a lot more complicated... I am having a really hard time finding any information on this battery.

That web outlet seems to me to be the most inexpensive overall. All shipping is only $1.99 as well. I had a bit of a problem with their website (couldn't turn cookies off in chrome for whatever reason), couldn't log in and make the purchase, so I called the store and they were very kind and helpful. I have been recommended to them by three people locally and so far, so good... just need to see how they packed it up and then I will be able to give them a 10/10... as long as its good.

I'm definitely going to stick with rebuildable as long as I am going with clearos.... I am interested in the Kanger T3 and the Drunker tank, as well as the very limited options in glass tank set ups... I really don't want to have to worry about what liquids I use in reference to what they will do to my equipment. I would really like to get into re-building my elements from scratch... but I definitely need to do some research and get a meter going to test the resistance. It might be more cost effective to go to harbor freight and pick up a cheap multimeter versus getting the kit to build the tester.
