Hey everyone! I have been vaping for about a month or so now. Started with a V2 cigs kit was not completely satisfied for all the money I was spending compared to quality and additional shipping costs. Don't get me wrong I still use the kit and will continue to do so, they make some really good accessories and a select few of their e-liquids are decent. But I kept researching and purchased another starter kit from a company in the same state as me, a G6 kit from Halo Cigs, this is a by far superior product to the V2, for less money and they offer free shipping on orders over $75 which is cool. I heard a lot of good about their juices as well so I ordered a sampler kit of some of their tobacco flavors. Most of which are good and I found two that I am rather fond of. I have since then ordered a Tornado kit from Totally Wicked, who has rather good deals going on regularly, switching weekly sale products and this cool YoYo feature where sale prices fluctuate throughout the week and can drop up to below 50%, I placed the order over the telephone and the sales associate / representative was very polite and helpful. I am anxious for this kit to arrive and would appreciate any tips and tricks any of you have for the eGo-C. As well as some good juice manufactures and some of your favorite flavors! (a big fan of tobacco flavors) I would also probably be interested in some weird/interesting flavors I like cherry (if anyone has found one that actually works) and flavors such as red bull and fruity mixs. Any advice is good advice, Thanks everyone glad to be part of this community! :)

Hello Rob, and welcome! Glad to see another Jersey guy on here. I started with an ego-T kit, but quickly moved on to other things and I have not had any experience with the ego-C. I have read on here that a lot of people like them.

As for Juices, I am a huge fan of NiteLite Vapors. I use their Bounty Hunter and Renegade RY4 pretty much exclusively. They are very hard to find in stock however. When I started I found a little shop in Tuckerton off rt 9 that sold juice and kits. (that is were I picked up my first ego-T clone kit.) I started with a mix of his Marlboro with a few drops of cherry and menthol. While I was not a menthol smoker, it tasted really good mixed together. I know he carries a Red Bull juice as well, but I never tired it. If you are ever around south jersey by the shore stop in and check out 9 south oddities. I wouldn't call it premium juice, but some of his stuff is really good. Oh, and he is a huge fuity juice fan, so he has a lot of fruit type juice as well.

Well I think the eGo will be a significant step in the right direction from the V2 and G6 kits. What do you currently have in your setup if you don't mind me asking?

I will definitely be checking out those vendors, really into supporting US, even more so local Jersey businesses (why I bought a Halocigs kit) so anyone mixing juices in Jersey deserves a shot IMHO and I will definitely be making a stop in Tuckerton soon, thanks for the info! I'd be interested in any other shops in jersey that mix or sell juice if anyone has knowledge of this. :)

Another Jersey guy here. I used to live in Mt. Holly area, really close to Tabernacle. Now live in Jackson.

I've tried the eGo-T & didn't like it. I've never tried the eGo-C. I prefer cartomizer tanks... no leaking. I use menthol juice mostly, so no help on Tobacco juice. But, I wanted to say hi to a fellow Jerseyan.

Howdy, and welcome from another forum noob
I have an eGo-C which I bought out of curiosity to see what sort of progress was being made in the tank realm (I wasn't a huge fan of earlier incarnations). Personally, I find I only like menthol juices through the C, my mainstay juice (Caramel Tobacco from Blue Mist) doesn't taste good at all with the system, really loses a lot of character. I find that dual coil cartos are a better option for me, but they do work well on the eGo batts (though they do drain 'em pretty quickly)...can't really go wrong with those since there are so many compatible options. I really like the new feature of the latest eGo batts with the switchlight changing to light blue/dark blue for low/very low charge.

It took me a lot of searching to find juices I like, so for me...If a juice doesn't work with a vaping system, the system gets sidelined rather than me trying to find a juice that works with it. But, since you're not settled into a main juice or 2 yet, you might find the perfect pairing with the C. Wish you luck in the quest!

Hey,

I got my ego a couple of weeks ago so I'm still new to it, but I haven't had any problems with it at all - which is starting to sound like a hit or miss deal.

I bought 2 dual coil clearomizers and a couple 3.5ml tanks. I didn't like the clearomizers. The heat in the vapor was too much for me and it seemed to dull everything. The 3.5ml tanks have been better. The flavor is definitely better than with the regular tanks, but for the flavors I have tried - which are VERY sweet - aren't bad in the regulars.

My problem is once I find something that I like on the ego, is how much do I buy? I don't want to have to have a suit case to move everything! We travel a lot!

I hope you find what works for you!! Good luck!!

Right now I am using an Infinity Pro from NotCigs. I really love this thing! I can dial the voltage in for what ever I put on the end of it. I switch between the carto tanks from MadVapes and the Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartomizers. If you ever feel that the ego-C is missing the mark you can try these out. I really liked them on the ego batteries. On the Infinity Pro at around 4 volts they are stellar!

Welcome to the forum! Lots of NJ folks around here, you'll fit right in.

Clouds of Vapor used to be from NJ, but he abandoned us for warm weather and beaches in Florida. NJ also bans vaping in public so we don't have the mall presence that other states have. If you branch out to PA, NY, and MA for suppliers, your stuff comes really fast at USPS prices.

Halo makes some of the best juices by far. I don't like all the sweet, desert, fruit flavors so if that's your thing they don't really offer anything along those line. There's also better tasting tobacco juice out there, but Halo just makes the cleanest, most consistent stuff out of anyone. Plus I hate that so many shops use plastic. Glass is the proper container for juice, not plastic that leeches chemicals overtime.

I can run like 15ml of Halo freedom through a carto until it starts performing poorly, anything else that tastes decent will gunk it up after ~4ml. I still try out new juices every now and then but nothing has the combination of clean + flavor.
Makes a huge difference in how much time you spend messing with things. Plus since they're in NJ, it's delivered next day :)
