Hello from Northern Bavaria

Hi friends from over the pond,

well, I am rudy - 54 yrs. young and I do live in a wonderfull region of Northern Bavaria. Since two month I use a EGO - T, Typ A and B. Before I had a cigarette consumption of around 30. Since two month I did not touch a cigarette again. Well they just stink and they are for sure not tasty. Much better in taste something like peach or chocolate

I May 2012 I will have a four weeks holiday trip with a camper in the Southwest of the USA. I will carry my liquids and the hardware with me.

How is the situation at the bars and restaurants. do they tolerate the using of e cigaretts?

I think as far as the Bar and restaurant tolerance of vaping, Thats going to be a situational thing.

Several places I have visited, No problems.. I left my KgO on the table ( Which has often caused a Q&A session.) Followed by... " Sure, go ahead and use it "...
If I see anyone else using an ecig oif any type, I go ahead and use it right away..

I think as being part of a responsible vaping community, it is always best to ask in a specific "non-smoking" establishment if it is OK to vape there.. A little explaination and understanding goes a long way.. and hey, maybe someday it will be a regular thing to see folks tooting on their PV everywhere.... Whatever I can do to contribute to the general publics understanding of what is it, and promote acceptance for all of us... Its a good thing !!.

Welcome to ECF and congratulations on not smoking and starting to vape!

Many of us have and do vape in restrurants, sports bars, stores and other public estabishments. In restaurants, I usually show my PV (personal vaporizer) to the waiter and explain that it is a vaporizer. Almost always they have no problem with it. If it is a restaurant where people sit close together, I will always be respectful and be careful not to blow large plumbs of vapor around and take shorter inhales with less vapor. It's good to be prepared to explain the benefits of vaping and that it is NOT smoking and is not harmful to others.

Welcome , and I hope you enjoy your vacation . Lots of things to see and places to go . I live in Las Vegas , and e-cigs are fairly well tolerated around here . At least in the places I go .

Well, time for my trip to the USA is getting closer and closer

A few additional question came up. My wife and I will travel together with another couple. All four of us stopped smoking in the same time and enjoy vaping now.

Can you recommend me a shop where I can get the ProVari for a good price and can you recommend me a few Liquidshops where I can buy some high quality liquids with a good taste and flash. Since we will stop at a friend in Oregon, I would like to use his place as a delivery place.

Well, I had the hope and expected some help and advices
