Hello all! I just began vaping on a Stick V8 6 weeks ago. I'd been a pack a day smoker for nigh on 30 years, but I've been tobacco free for those six weeks!

I figured I'd be content with the Stick V8... That lasted a few days lol. I still use it, but now also have a couple of box mods, and I'm using various tanks and rda. Great hobby, got me off Camel Filters, and I've got my wife to quit smoking, too!

Anyway, this seems like a fantastic forum and I look forward to learning lots! Thanks!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on getting off stinkies! I quit a 48 year Camel Filter habit and started with a Stick V8 just shy of 8 weeks ago myself. My two Stick V8's went to a friend 10 days later after my first Smok GX2/4 arrived, have 3 of them now in different colors.

Congratulations to you and the wife, some folks get it and others (some of my relatives) do not. RDA's are my gotos.

Sweet! I am not the new kid on the block now. Hey, I just joined this awesome site a couple days ago myself. So welcome I am passing the newbie torch to you! Your story is similar to mine. 30 year smoking Red's, started out small with a e-cig (a greensmoke or something like that). For a day or two it was awesome but, was missing something. Missing the cloud and the smoke rings (was awesome at smoke rings if I say so myself). Went out and bought a variable mod with a dripper and that is what I enjoy. So I am a dripper 100%! And talk about clouds........! We differ in only one small part...wife is still smoking. She smokes about a pack every 3 days or so and always has. I have also moved into mixing my own and I always handing her my mod and saying "oh, try this flavor out". It is only a matter of time...I will move her over from the dark side. Best wishes and need anything I can provide just holler!

You can do awesome tricks with your vape too. If you haven't already, google vape tricks.

Nah, just clouds. Thick, full, moist, beautiful clouds! I think for me I need to experience what I use to get with analogs. Cause that is what moved me to dripping. Only used those cig look a-like ecigs for couple days before I moved up devices. They did not give me what I needed to keep off the analogs. Now tho, with dripping...it gives me what I need to stay on this side. And also I can quench my sweet tooth (31 really...lost one when Billy Devo wacked me with a roller skate) with all my mixing.
