Hello everyone, I'm new here. I've been a ppd smoker since 1997, and have had several quit attempts since 2006. We set our quit date and will be vaping again. Just ordered a smok v8 stick.

Both my wife and I have vaped before, but went back to the stinkies after 11 months. Ugh.

Glad to be a part of this forum :)

Welcome to back. Hoping you and your wife go all the way this time.
Oops, that doesn't sound right, hoping you two hit Nirvana this time. Dang still not right. Hoping you finally leave the stinkies behind and have a smoke free life together. There! Finally got it out. :thumb:

It's interesting to hear about a relapse after almost a year. By that time cigarettes tasted awful to me and the chance of relapse was pretty much zero. I see some younger coworkers who who switched to vaping then relapsed after a shorter time but now, a year later, they are back vaping again. It appears to me if someone never stops vaping they will stop smoking sooner or later.

I did relapse after a year. For me, I learned not to take it for granted that I wouldn't fall back. Also that someone else having cigarettes in the house makes it more of a danger. I'm wiser now about being on guard against it, but yes, sure, it happens. I've now been non-smoking again for a year, so don't worry, ForTheLoveofVape, you can definitely do this! There's a lot of us doing it together here! :)

Welcome and glad you joined. Please read all you can about the Smok atomizer, this is advanced equipment and needs a full understanding of vaping in order to be successful.
