I wont say how I found this forum, it's bad etiquette to rake over old coals. Suffice to say I am very glad I did.
It seems to be a massively informative and highly welcoming site.
I started vaping on the 1st of October this year and haven't looked back....haven't dared look at my bank statement either, I should break even somewhere around 2025. Despite this I forgot to continue smoking somewhere along the line and have not felt so well for years, plus I am getting more sleep as I no longer have to set the alarm 30 minutes early in able to cough up a lung before I run out of the door.
It's been a while since I participated in a forum ( I am on another one but it's a tad 'slow'), I am usually to be found on twitter but am taking some time off, need a slightly slower pace and less rage inducing discussion ;)
please bear with me as I get used to your forum rules , which I shall now spend the rest of the day reading, and excuse any typos which are usually down to me having spilled e-liquid on the keyboard.

Hi Moosh Welcomr to community, so glad you like it here. The people here amazing and yes they respond to questions, problems and input in a very timely mannor. Refering to the lung statment, that is one of the biggest reasons I quit smoking. I started to find myself doing a cough gag even, just a horible way to start the day off. Anyways congratulations on quiting smoking Cya around

Thanks for the welcome.
Funny thing was I liked smoking, really liked it, but where I go to Uni, well lets just say there is a lot of shisha smoking in town, and i got hooked on flavours, however I would wake up with a raging throat the next morning....PV seemed a way to get my flavours and cut down on smoking...what actually happened was it cut it out entirely...I get my flavour, I get my nicotine ( which is cut down to 8mg during the day) what the devil do I need stinkies for now?

Hi Moosh,
welcome.gif
If you've had a glimmer of sunshine today you are lucky, up here (north of the m25) where there be dragons we've only had rain and more rain.
Lol, I know what you mean about breaking even when everyday something new and shiny and better seems to be popping up.
Good to have you on board, enjoy your stay and have fun.

From one new member to another, welcome!
I have really had to work on resisting buying new PV devices. I have only been vaping for 11 days but man there are some really cool devices I would like to try. Maybe after the holidays I will allow myself a treat, I know my DH will not get me anything and I will probably decide to buy myself a gift.

Hi Moosh! Welcome here at ECF! Hehe ("not so sunny Brighton") here in Low Normandy we've got about 300 rainy days a year. As I often say, referring to England as a rainy country and talking about my own area "the other country of the rain"!
It's 8 months I quit tobacco and started vaping, and like you, feeling a lot better, especially in the morning!

keep on vaping!

Cheers! :)
