Welcome to ECF Scott, my recommendation is the Joye eGo, it is a great e-cig with great taste, throat hit and tons of vapor with good battery life. E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings has them on sale for $39.99 today, which is a great price and only $2.99 for shipping, make sure to order some small bottles of juice to use with it. You don't want to buy big bottles until you know what you like. Good luck and happy vaping!!!!!

OK
If you puff 2 packs you almost certainly need a big battery PV like an eGO. There is no question. Liberty Flights has those kits for $40 today.

You will need the kit, liquid, and best to try some cartomizers.

No way a mini or super mini will work with 2 packs a day, in my view. I know, I have several and rarely ever use them.

Edit: $40 with ECF code discount that you enter.

The gunslinger above has it nailed (the others are correct too). Also, don't trust the little pre-filled 510 cart tips in most kits.... many report no-nic effect from them. Get some good, new, e-juice. Nic content 18-24 mg (this is highly variable and subjective, however). You have to find out what works for you. There are some videos by Mistress Nomad in the stickies talking about this stuff.

Other common things: Spare atomizers, some "cut" solution so you can lower the nic (and flavor) if you wish and a drip tip.

Welcome and good luck!

Hello again, I have made it 24 hours with no analogs using a Greensmoke and some of the filters given to me by a friend. For me thats an enternity. I think I am going to be able to do this. I ordered a Joye ego starter kit and a few diffrent juices to try from Freedmon smoke usa . I also ordered more Greensmoke flavors to hold me over the learning curve of this. The Greensmokes are expensive but they are easy for a beginner. I am not so much worried about cost at this point as I am getting off the analogs. When I get my my starter kit. I bet I'll have more questions. I'll search and ask on here. I vaping right now in my living room. Haha Thanks for the help. Scott

Scott,

That's wonderful news!!! I am happy it is all working out for you. Don't fear the eGo, it's really easy to do. Of course we'll all be here for you to help you along the way. Isn't it great to be able to vape inside? It's getting cold in the Northeast now. I stick my tongue out at my Mom when she's outside smoking and I am vaping away indoors. haha (she's willing to try vaping so I am going to buy her an eGo kit for Christmas) ---but for now, it's fun! =)
