Just have a few questions, just getting into this hobby. I'm about to go pick up my 1st kit from the postal office, ordered an Innoking MVP 2.0 with a Protank 2, it also comes with an Iclear30. Was wondering is there anything to do to the unit/tanks before vaping, I'm guessing cleaning them but other than that? Will they leak if not in a vertical position.

With those setups no not really, Most people keep there mods in a vertical state but I have not had a problem with mine. Just be careful with your Protank O rings they slip out easy

I do not even clean mine before use... I guess I should, if you do make sure they are dry first
I love my MVP great first buy

YUK ! be sure to clean it :blink: pull the coils out of both tanks (set aside)
then get bizzy cleaning the tanks (PTII & i30) a GREAT opportunity to learn how they work too (patience my friend)
then just dry them and put them back together
NOW THE HARD PART "FILL THEM UP--AND WAIT"
you have to WAIT for the wicks to get fully saturated or they will burn and then that's all you will taste

suggest you fill ptII first, then by the time your done messing with all those wicks in the iClear30
maybe the ptII will be ready...

once you screw the base on the tanks, there is a slight vacuum and nothing will leak out
in any position(including upside down)

nice call on MVP & PTII

HAPPY VAPING :)

Welcome to ECF and congrats on the switch!

I now am falling back on the PT2 and have the innokin iclear 16. I cant say much for the iclear 30s. Ive hear some people complaining that if you use both the iclear 30 or the protank 2 right out of the box, the iclears might have a plasticky taste or the PT2 might have a metallic taste to it. Strongly recommend you rinse both tanks with water out before you use them. I got that metallic taste from the PT2 so i followed someones advice on here to give it a rinse as well as using a q tip to run it through the central tube. The flavour was nice afterwards.

Sometimes you might encounter a burnt taste on the PT2. Blowing lightly down on the mouthpiece seemed to have helped. Mind you, if you have the PT2 mini which i had before the big PT2, the burnt taste was encountered much more often. To me, seems like the PT2 mini received more boo's than woo's due to leaking, burnt tastes, flavourlesness. Just to inform those of you the difference between the 2 before you invest.

Otherwise, i dont have any other recommendations for the iclear 30 as ive heard nothing but good things about it except for the aesthetics of it.
