Hi to all here,
i have been around reading here for some time, signed up and read some more.
i am also one of those who started out with trying some of the cheap 5$ Dealextreme e-cigs which seem to be M401 style. weren't too bad, i got to try some different e-juices and soon found this would be an ok replacement for my analog smoking. but of course, the charges on these cheap things dont last long enough so after reading i gave it a shot with an ego-T clone, also from dx.

and i want to comment on that also, it really is a good clone, works very well and i am now vaping away every day with that. since equipment here in Switzerland is very expensive, i am ordering e-liquid from DX and Healthcabin, since i do like them and i read somewhere else that these are Dekang anyways and should be ok. taste-wise they are ok for me and in the end you never know what you will get since noone tells you where they get the stuff from.

I started on M401 - nice flavor but the carts are a pain.

I now prefer cartomizers (Boge) and mostly use 510-threaded (what Ego-T is) and some KR808D-1 stuff (a 3.7v slim mini). Dekang - I like RY4 and I like DK-TAB tobacco for mixing other flavors into. Some like the 555 (like RY4 but nutty).

I think the tanks like the thickness of 20-30% VG or less, and 100% PG is OK but may leak more easier, and some thinner 50/50 juices may work. BTW if you want to try PG/VG and only have Dekang available, 3 parts of Dekang PG juice and 1 part same/similar flavor Dekang VG juice will make a 75PG/25Vg juice.

In stuffing cartos I use 20% VG or less

Vg smooths the vape, dulls the flavor, adds more visible vapor

i really like vaping - but i am a bit considered that this might be even more "addictive" than smoking was
so many PV's to choose from, so many different e-liquids. then also you can do your own stuff - that might be a problem for me because i like to tinker with stuff

Yes it's very addicting, but once you nail down a few everyday juices you can get those in 0 mg nic as well. That's what I do. A lot of times I will have two 510s - one with my normal 18 mg and another with the same juice in 0 mg. Makes it very easy to regulate your nic intake without having to stop vaping.

for the moment i am absolutely happy that i dont smoke anymore - well - i have to admit i smoke one ore two normal cigarettes once in a while. but actually i dont like the taste anymore. i still have a lot of 18mg juice, so i will try to mix that with 0mg of the same or some matching flavour to get it down. with matching i mean - like mixing caramel mocca with vanilla or strawberry with vanilla - those i tried already with mixing two 18mg together and they taste nice when you get the dosage right.
