I have been lurking on this forum a few days, and decided to jump in and register. I switched from smoking a half pack of analog cigs daily to vaping exclusively on May 11, and don't think I will ever go back. I was (and still am) amazed and inspired with all the stories from people here who quit smoking after many years, even decades!

I purchased a DSE901 kit at the recommendation of a friend, figuring if I didn't like it I'd only have wasted 30 bucks. I'm still researching and learning about other options, but for now I'm happy with it and trying out a bunch of different samples of e-liquid. I got my first cartomizer today and like it much better than the atomizer.

vaping is fun! It feels a bit weird being able to do this in my apartment, I keep catching myself heading towards the porch and then remembering that I don't have to vape outside unless I want to. When at work I still use the smoking area, but I'm going to check on what the company and building management will allow for e-cig users.

Welcome to the forum bunniee, glad you found us! I use a 901 as well, but am not too fond of cartomizers. To each his own though, there are enough different models for every taste. I don't know if I would bring up the e-cigs at work thing, it depends on who you work for. Some have discovered, to their dismay, that they were forced outside with the smokers after admitting to vaping. You could just stealth vape at work and nobody would probably ever notice. (Bathrooms are great for that, lol)

Hey thanks for the tips & welcome! I'm probably not going to push the issue at work. I didn't want to vape in the building, just out front. They actually have a decent smoking area with shade and benches, so I don't mind.

@ garyinco - yeah, I kind of figured that switching flavors might be a problem with the cartomizer unless they are similar. I like how the cartos are shaped though, I have trouble sometimes getting my mouth to work right with the atomizer. :)
