Welcome! I found the 510 adequate, but too much work and I didn't need another hobby lol. After investing hundreds in the 510, I switched to the VaporKing from Vapor4Life and have not looked back! It is head and shoulders above the 510 in my opinion. To check out what others are saying, try the forum here at Vapor4Life - e-cigarette-forum.com • The place for electronic cigarette reviews, news and chat . Don't be afraid to just jump in and ask questions, we are a friendly bunch! ;)

If you are willing to blow out atty's, constantly top off your cart or drip directly on the atty, the 510 will be ok for you. If you want to screw in a cartomizer and simply puff away and get great taste and consistand throat hit, I would recommend the VK from V4L. I wish it had been my first, sadly, (about $400 later) it was my third and last! Love it!

Good luck with whatever you choose! vaping is definately the way to go!

;) I think you've sold me. I was going to order last night, but I was indecisive about what I wanted. There are so many flavors.. and I dont want to order too little and then end up buying more smokes again. I'm also reading the threads here on converting and the mg of the nic and such. On one hand... I smoke a lot. But... I've been glued to this brand for so long that if I bum a smoke off someone and it's not my brand it feels like air to me. All the while... I've got a nasty smoke in my hand.

TY all for the advice :)

BTW JenJen I love your avatar :D

AND... my dogs say hi to everyone. I'm sure they'll be happy when I'm not smoking anymore... since.. they sleep under my feet wherever I am. Even if I have the window open while I'm working on the computer they still walk away from me when i light one up.

OH-- and the one I'm going to try first from VK is the manual kind that comes in the kit :) Yay

((Sorry to double post!))

Another VK/V4L lover here. Please be sure to hit the V4L forum and give an honest review when you get it! Congratulations on your first e-cig, and here's hoping it helps you get off the analogs!

Yes! :) I'm using the code :D I'm excited... wonder how long it'll take to ship here :) :D:D:D

He gets them right out, so I am guessing 3 days. I am further west in California and that is what it takes to get here... maybe you will get yours sooner! *crosses fingers for her* ;)

One thing that helps on ALL ecigs is remember to take a slooooooooow draw on it. Takes a few times to get the hang of it, but when you do...WOW! And although when I first started I thought I would mostly stick to the tobacco tastes, I fell in love with cappucino - and Steve's Vanilla Carts are to die for! So yummy, they are now my fave! His peach tastes just like you took a bite out of a sweet ripe one! Very nice! Play around, if you are like me you will prefer the other flavors. You won't even want a nasty cig! :p

Hi, Is that your dog in your Avatar? If so I've always wanted one of those, Great breed from what I have been told..

Just got my e-cig 3 or 4 days ago and my one regret is I didn't try it earlier. I can't give advice on what to get as I have only tried one so far. It's a Dse 901. If I try another it will be far into the future as this one works great for me.

The first day was a little rough till my atty broke in and now it hits and tastes great. I really do hope you like it as I see this as a great alternative to a deadly habit.

Good vaping to you!

I have not been vaping very long - about a month. I currently have a 510, a 901 and a Vapor King. By far...the Vapor King (imo) is the best! I have barely touched my others since purchasing my VK. And i highly recommend vapor4life! Great product and wonderful customer service! Flavor, price, convenience and throat hit...all A++++!!!!! Happy Vaping!! :D

Yes that's one of my dogs, "Beaver". :) EBTs are a wonderful breed but hyper as hell. She's 6 mos, 40lbs, and bosses my 98lb PBT to the ground. :( I feel bad for the guy.

I will post and let ya'll know what I think when my order arrives! I got a bunch of different boxes of flavors: 555, Coffee, Vanilla, RedCow(?), Mboro, RY4, Cappuccino... I went with the Vapor King- Ultimate Ultimatum Manual Kit. And I'm getting one of those USB passthru things.

:D I'm stoked!!

Welcome BL, nice to have you here!

Nothing bogus about the e-ciggies. I've been vaping, and smoke free, since June 21st and the whole time I've been looking for "the catch" the only thing I've found is that, while I was worried it was a hoax, I quit smoking and didn't even realize it.

Whodda thunk it?

I started off with the Ultimate Ultimatum kit also - it has everything you need and the PPC charger is the bomb! You charge it up, and you can charge up to 5 batteries. I carry my one for puffing, and toss the pcc into my purse with a battery charging and 2 carts and I am good to go! Just rotate as the batteries discharge -oh yeah! You are going to love this! :D

Hello there. I have been browsing the forums for a while and figured I would sign up... I have never tried any of these eCigs before, and am really nervous about it actually. So... I'm going to read as much as I can on here. Not expecting a WHOLE bunch of responses since I'm sure everything that can be said to newbies are probably posted somewhere on here.

A little about me? I'm 23, from Texas, a web programmer (actually that's when I smoke most of my cigs is when I'm working...) and I've been smoking for 5 years. I'm also currently in school again and when I sit through a 4 hour lecture the first thing I do when I get out is light up 3 or for cigs back to back and have a coffee.

I currently smoke Perique Blend (Black) American Spirits. 1 - 2 packs a day depending on my work load. I'm sick of the morning smokers mouth, the smell...

The thing I'm most afraid of in choosing one of these e-cig things is that it might not work. I realize you can choose the potency of what you smoke, flavors, etc etc... but I don't want to spend a lot of money on a product that turns out to be bogus, or will feel like I'm just taking a drag of air-- because oddly enough I'm hooked on the feeling I get in my throat of the heavy smoke.

So... any tips would be appreciated. Or even just a hello would be nice. :)

Oh-- and I have to admit, I'm a fan of fun colors... I did find some of these products in pink but I don't want to base my purchase on that alone... If you know of any nice reputable brands with fun colors though that would be wonderful.

XOXO

Hey ButtLips! hehe what a name.

As for what e-cigs are good, go with the 510 man, no doubt! They come in multiple colors and they are fantastic vapor producers.

As for the throat hit it's dependent on the liquid more so than the cig itself. Search around and find some suppliers of good e-liquid and you'll be set.
