Hey my name is Jase, I used to vape before all the mods and such came out but went back on the cigarettes for the past year and a half or so. I plan on getting back into vaping mostly to save money and still get my nicotine fix lol. The device I plan on getting is the Innokin MVP 20W. I have a quick question about this device. It it compatible with 510 threaded atomizers/cartomizers? to give you an example here is a link with atty's i plan on using. Im not sure whether i need a Low Resistance one or a High Voltage one. Yes you will be able to use a 510 dripping atomizer/cartomizer on your MVP 20watt. I've been vaping 8+ years and so I remember when that was the only option I had. Today, there are so many better options (at least for me).

Should you decide that a 510 carto is for you then consider modding your carto for better flavor/vapor. This is what many of us did 4 years ago when we were using carto's (before carto tanks came out). It's what is know as the Lipton Pyramid Tea Bag Carto Mod (modification).

Yes , there are many more options now-a-days.

The MVP 20W is well made but YouTube reviews suggest that it is defined to a narrow customer base. Inokin itaste is coming out with a MVP3 in the next month or two. It is much more flexible. If you want to see the review, it is located here:

Depends on what voltage you are going to be using. Check out this Safe Vaping Power Chart. This chart was made for when we used cartos.

Check the chart. You will not be able to vape at those higher voltages without getting massive DRY HITS!

Yes, to vape at those high voltages. Cartos were not designed for high voltage/wattage vaping. High voltage/wattage vaping didn't exist when cartos game out. We were using 3.7 fixed voltage batteries (and the voltage dropped as the battery drained).

Once you get into glass tanks with airflow control you will be able to use higher volts/watt that your new MVP 20W supports.

Using a carto you CAN'T vape a high voltage/wattage. The highest ohm carto you will find is MAYBE 2.5 ohms.

Like I said, that chart only applies to the older technology cartos that you were asking about. With the new tanks (airflow control & superior wicking) you can throw that chart out the window. It doesn't apply.

The cheapest tanks are plastic are under $8 (without spare coils) and have no airflow control. The draw is tight, limited ability to wick, and smaller amount of vaper (as compared to other tanks. 8 watts is probably the highest you could get away with and not get dry hits/burnt taste. An additional problem with plastic is that some flavors (cinnamon & citrus to name two) will crack them making them unusable.

At this point, it would probably serve you well to visit a local vape shop and try some of their flavors at their vape bar. Many vape shops use a CE5 clearomizer (plastic tank with a top coil). That would give you some idea if you liked a tight draw. If you are lucky, some of them may also have flavors in other types of tanks.

I always hated a tight draw. But that's me. Many people prefer it.

You could check out the innokin gladius tank its not to bad on the MVP 20w, you are able to adjust the airflow, looks nice and is under $20.00
