It’s a science vs marketing issue. The science (or even merely basic logic) is that the flavor ban will do nothing or near nothing except promote cigarettes, and that e-cigarettes has nothing to do with these deaths in the first place. They were all cannabis related. The reason it happened was the trade war with China pushed filled carts up to and past the point that buying empty carts and filling them with whatever became cheaper so unscrupulous people started doing it.
The marketing relies entirely on a single years old question survey where kids claimed they liked JUULs (specifically) for their flavors. No questions about actual nic content (which in JUULs is incredibly high) A flavor ban is a thing the
tobacco companies have been pushing for many years.
