Hello E-C-F !

Lance here, looks like a really solid forum here, with a great group of people. I have been smoke free for a little over a year and a half now, mostly thanks to swedish snus but my e-cig helps a lot too. The e-cig I have now is just a cheap one I got at a gas station but I am planning on investing into a new one sometime in the near future. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good e-cig ... preferably under $150?

Thanks a lot everyone,

Lance R

Welcome to ECF.

There are a lot of people here to give you suggestions on a good PV. It would help if you could tell us what you are looking for in a PV. Long battery life, replaceable batteries, size, VV or not?

I am more of a snus user, and just use the e-cig every now and then for a change so im not up to date on the lingo lol. What is a PV and a VV?

The main thing I am looking for is high nicotine content, I was looking at some online that claim to be around 20mg. I saw online "flavors" such as marlboro - do those actually taste like marlboros? Like I said, I am more of a snusers so I do not need a extended battery life, just something that can be recharge.

Generally speaking, I like getting the best one available, I dont want one that I will have to replace in a few months.

Thanks again for the suggestions and the warm greetings!

Cheers everyone

Hey, I'm in Greene County. I've been looking for the clean tasting purified snus that they sell in Europe and I can't find them here.

The Joyetech eGo-C Pass-through is pretty good device, it costs less than $30 with shipping. I use it with boge and smoktech low resistance cartomizers. You can get devices that cost more, but you also have to invest in good batteries and charger stands.

There are tons of great ecigs to choose from. For under 150, GLV-XL Mini has a lifetime warranty and is made here in America.

PV = Personal Vaporizer (aka e-cig)
VV = Variable Voltage

E-juice is available in various nicotine strengths with 24 mg/ml nicotine being considered high. Some people vape as high as 36 mg/ml. As far as flavor, no juice can mimic the taste of burning leaves but some juices come close to the aroma of un-burnt tobacco.

Here's a link to a description of the main type of PV:

Once you narrowed it down to a type, let us know and we will answer any questions you may have or give you recommendations (or try to talk you out of it :) )
